Hamish is a great guy with exceptional knowledge and understanding of the performance car sales process. Sorted me out with a cracking deal and the car was delivered on time without any issues.

I visited today to look at a Golf GTI the car was waiting for my test drive. I spent a lot of time with Stephen who was most helpful to me giving me a valuation on my car. Although his valuation was short of where I wanted to be he revised it closer but not quite. On reflection I passed on the car bit I would highly recommend the dealership. I am going back later this week to visit the detailer he recommended. Thanks for all your help and to Daniel who came out on the test drive. 5 stars easily for all apart from the valuation. Thanks.

Fantastic service from start to finish with a warm, relaxed welcome by all staff. Not your usual pushy salesmen which was a pleasant experience. Hamish was a gent and made the whole family, kids included, feel part of the purchase.In terms of the car we purchased, it's still early days as only collected it yesterday but so far so good and the wife's happy which is a bonus!

Excellent garage! I just bought a car from there today and all the salesmen were absolutely spot on. In particular Graham was the salesman who sorted the sale of the car providing an excellent service, I will definitely be recommending this garage.1 Month on from the sale - I am still awaiting parts from a full service the garage promised me upon the day of sale. Every time I go to ring the garage I get no answer or the receptionist says the manager will call me back and then he never does. Or when I try to email the garage I simply get zero response with regards to the matter.Overall very poor customer service post sale and disappointing considering the garage were spot on when in the process of selling the car itself.

Enquired about a BMW. Wasn’t willing to move on price despite having the car in for a few months, I don’t know what it was about my communication… but the experience wasn’t worth five stars.

Very small selection and poor quality. No sense of urgency to fix damages or missing items.

Enquired on the ford mustang that they have for sale. Sent around 4 emails to Declan, one of them included a personalised video showing me certain things for the car as i am 5 hours away, he was hesitant to send a video which would of taken 5 minutes, I then reiterated I want the video. I then recieved an email back from Declan saying 'I get the inkling you are not going to buy the car' and thought I'd be wasting his and my time. Since yesterday I've had all my stuff put into place to buy the car and sell mine elsewhere. Its the right colour, mileage, budget for me and I've been searching for months and months and got excited when seeing this one as it fit all my requirements. Spoke to the Sales Manager Hamish who promised to pass me over to someone else and they would then send a video in the morning, have still not recieved this video so it looks like I'll continue my search elsewhere. Awful customer service, assumptions don't get you anywhere and as a Sales Executive myself, I wouldn't even dream of saying to a customer 'I get the inkling you are not going to buy the car' after 4 emails.

Sold me what looks like an accident damaged car. It’s been a complete nightmare. They took the car back but not without two weeks of bad service, poor communication and no apology. Don’t expect Hamish to get back to you or be courteous or professional. Shambles of a garage. I was lucky to spot the poor welds myself, who knows if this has happened to other in the past. I really hope not

My family have purchased 8 cars in total from Hamish over the last few years, I just purchased our 4th in last 18 months. Had a few issues with the car after taking delivery however these were resolved quickly, efficiently and without any hassle.I will never buy a car from anyone else and cannot recommend Hamish enough, the full experience of buying a car from GTI World is faultless every time.I encourage everyone I speak to who is looking for a performance car (especially VW) to visit these guys and have never been let down!

Enquired about a car on their online form some weeks ago and no one called or emailed me back. If the specific Golf R I wanted to look at had sold I'm sure they would have had other options I could have bought. May revise this review if I visit the showroom at some point but as it stands there's other garages I would rather spend my time visiting.Edit: Removed comment about the website as it's working fine now.
