A great shop with good friendly service and a wide choice. Having been to several other fabric suppliers in the area looking for interesting and good quality shirting fabrics, this shop is where I should have started! Highly reccomended.

I bought 3m of aqua terry towelling fabric online - it arrived much sooner that expected and two days later I have a fantastic new dressing gown. Top quality fabric and service. Thank you so much in these difficult times.

Came across this business at the craft show at the NEC today, who ever was working the stall talked at me behind my back as I was bent down looking at fabric not aware he was there, as I didn’t respond he muttered audibly how rude it was that I ignored him, on calling out this behaviour he became extremely rude and aggressive. A complaint was made the the event organisers who were nothing but apologetic and by their behaviour they were not surprised. Absolutely disgraceful when I was 100% going to purchase from them. I can see from other reviews that this is not the first instance at an event and I sincerely hope they are not allowed back and that event organisers should be aware of the disgusting behaviour of this employee within this company.

This retailer does not know the difference between Crepe de Chine ( not crepe dechine ) and Polyester chiffon.The picture you see below is a fabric that is being listed on eBay as crepe dechine and when it arrived it was very apparent it was chiffon.Now everybody who makes clothes will know chiffon is a transparent fabric, crepe de chine is not transparent.

Having searched everywhere to find Duchess satin at the right price, right colour and in a location within reach, I was BLESSED to find Material Magic. Staff with a good phone manner instilled confidence that this was a place that would help. With time of the essence ,15 miles in 20 minutes before closing to complete a wedding gown. Delighted to find many great fabrics, given truly knowledgeable help by the owner, lovely guy, so helpful, and Voila, Success! Can't thank you enough Mr Material Magic ! ♥

Visited this stall at the Excel Centre and the owner was extremely rude, unprofessional and I would go as far as to say intimidating not just to us but we noticed that he had an extremely bad attitude to other customers too. We tried to purchase a piece of fabric for a specific project and discovered that he had cut the fabric at an angle, going through the repeat pattern. When I pointed this out he became aggressive and said that we had returned to his stall too many times but we explained we were merely trying to match up a particular colour fabric to ribbon that we had purchased from another stall. He then refused to sell the material to us and started to speak to another customer really nastily about us. We reported this to the organisers of the event who were extremely helpful and pointed out that this is not what you expect from a fun day out. Reading through other reviews I can see that this is not the first time he has done this! So please beware of purchasing from this seller.

If you can't find it here, it hasn't been invented yet! Really impressed with the fabric, scissors & other items I purchased a few days ago & great service from the owner Anil too.

Not impressed - this table measures 1.5 metres in length. I asked for 3 metres & paid for 3 metres. Only when I get home do I find that I have been cut just 2.75 metres. When you pay £6 per metre and only get 0.75 metres, you should be charged £4.50 so I consider myself not only ripped off by £1.50 but now I shall need to purchase more in order to finish the project I am undertaking and spend a further £5.70 in bus fare in order to come back!

I purchase fabric from this shop regularly and I always have such a good experience! Staff are very friendly and are always extremely helpful! So many beautiful fabrics to choose from! Would definitely recommend!!

Dissapointed brought several pieces of fabric today, the most expensive one was cut well under half a metre. Very annoyed feel ripped off. Considering I have used the shop a lot. I will consider other fabric sellers in the future. PLEASE check your purchases when using this shop.
