Norfolk House is a great nursery in the city centre. I work here and can say that the team is amazing and everyone rows in the same direction. The children are sweet and are surrounded by the loving staff, like a big family. There are lots of extracurricular activities and a variety of food is prepared daily on site for the little ones.

Went for a viewing and was told that my son (who’s 10 months old) would be in with the 2 year old group as they didn’t want to ‘transition him too many times’ - it scared me since there was dry pasta shell scattered on the floor, a lot of baby furniture that I would want to baby proof while my son is still crawling yet. If that wasn’t stressful enough, one of the staff asked to hold my son, while I didn’t particularly feel comfortable doing so the staff were really friendly, I mentioned he needed a nappy change so he was already a little irritated but before I knew it she went and sat down with the group of toddlers which obviously upset my son a lot so I took him back to settle him - overall it was just a really poor experience for an already apprehensive mother because it showed me that they don’t actually listen or adjust according to the baby needs (like they said they claim they do), what’s the point in settling in sessions if they’re going to throw the baby in the deep end - Would not recommend.

I’ve had three children attend the nursery, they all throughly enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and have always looked after my little ones needs. Would very much recommend!

This is such a good nursery. We've had two children go through this nursery from the babies room to preschool and the care for both has been fantastic. Pre Covid times they have weekend and evening events, trips out for the children and opportunities for parents to join in with activities in the day sometimes. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children and you as a family and have been particularly supportive during the last 12 months. I will really miss Norfolk House when our second child starts school in September.

I was instantly taken with Norfolk House when I was looking round prospective nurseries. The staff are so warm and friendly and I had no hesitations when leaving my son on his first day. In the 6 months he’s been at Norfolk House his development has gone from strength to strength. They do so many activities and I’m always amazed what they fit in to a day. My son is incredibly happy there and it feels like a home away from home.

My son has been at Norfolk house since September and he absolutely loves it. I can see how much they care about him and I always get a full handover about his day. They do a wide range of activities with him, so much more than I could do, and really keeps him stimulated. I’m so grateful for the loving care and attention they give him. Really is a lovely, family nursery.

Our son has attended Norfolk House since August 2020. The staff here always welcome you with a smile, they make you feel as though your child and yourself are part of the team/family.The staff keep you updated with what your child has done throughout the day and we love getting photos to bring home with us.We love all the different activities that are set throughout the months. We also have strict religious dietary requirements for our son which the nursery respect. We would recommend this nursery to all parents.
