Quayside Apartments by Urban Space

Management cancelled our 14 person booking without notice 4 months after the booking was made. We booked early to ensure we found somewhere to stay for our golf trip. Do not offer bookings of that size if you are not prepared to accommodate. Very disappointed.

Great location beside Mermaid Quay.Loads of restaurants & good vibe around the place - next door to the Millennium centre.About 20 min walk into the city centre of Cardiff.Apartment was spotless, with plenty of space, with very clear instructions on how to access keys - no problems at all.Coffee shop downstairs, shop around the corner, taxi rank very close - everything you need.Definitely recommend - we will book again next time we are heading towards Cardiff, or south Wales.

Really central location in the bay. Nearby parking. Great system for retrieving keys. Lift, we had 2 bedrooms, one had balcony, the other had ensuite. Welcome pack left for us, tea, coffee, milk, and washing liquid, binbags tea towel and dish cloth. Apartment was lovely and clean. Really pleased with our booking and would recommend highly. Excellent price too.

The Apartment was excellent. A small bottle of milk. Coffees, Teas, Fruit Teas & Sugar were supplied as was Hand Wash, Shampoo/ Bodywash & Conditioner. There is also a Hairdryer.Entry is situated between Sainsburys Local & Well Pharmacy. (Be aware that Apt 34 overlooks a 24hr Premier Store that did seem to attract some early hours noise issues so if you're a light sleeper take earplugs).The location was excellent also. - Mermaid Quay is just round the Corner.The parking agreement with Q Park (just over the road) was spot on - we liaised with them & they said they would supply extra discount vouchers if we needed to exit more than once per day. My only issues were that I had to chase Urban Space for access codes to the premises which were not given until less than 24 hours before travel. As a very organised person I found that stressful. Also, having given them a 3pm arrival but arriving over an hour early I rang to ask if the Apartment was ready but they checked & I was told not until the time specified. We had no issue with this & went for a Coffee but on arrival at 3.05pm we were told it was still not ready as they had been given an arrival time of 4pm. This left us waiting in the Lobby for over 30 mins. Urban Space staff were very friendly by phone, as was Roberto who met us at the Apartments. I would have no hesitance in booking with Urban Space again in the hope they've just tweaked the Admin side for next time.

The apartment are a lovely size, every thing is on your door step, wasn't happy with the parking the 24 hour car park was £35, for 3nights even with the vouchers they give you

Fabulous place to stay in Cardiff. Apartment (2 bedrooms) was very comfortable. Walks along the river, plenty of bars and restaurants... And if your are a fan of DrWho......

Apartment was OK.. clean.. everything you need... except WIFI.. I rang twice and left a message .. no one acted on msgs... other than that.. all ok.. but NO communication

We were received friendly and had a nice conversation with a staff member. Location is great and easy to get to by public transportation. Towels and bedding were clean and soft.The apartment is in a disastrous condition. Almost everything to be operated mechanically or electronically does not work correctly. This includes the shower, the TV, the heating in the bathrooms and all the doors. The kitchen furniture and doors were badly damaged. The cabinets and bathroom fixtures were poorly cleaned, leaving streaks and toothpaste residue everywhere. The bathroom floor was definitely not cleaned and in the hallway it is stuffy and it smells very unpleasant.In no way can this apartment be recommended in this condition and I am extremely dissatisfied to have paid so much money for it.

Great location for what we needed, but the flat was a bit tired, kitchen cabinets were a mess, front window broken and some trim on the floor unstuck. OK, overall though

Rented studio apartment over Easter w/e. Very comfortable, clean and convenient for restaurants, bars, shops, entertainment. Could walk to all amenities without needing to use the car for the whole w/e. Thoroughly recommend
