This is no longer the furniture shop - that's in the Lower Precinct. This is a good general charity shop with good bargains and friendly staff

We wanted a dressing table and stool. I tried a stool out with a table there. When we came to pay we said that we wanted the stool with the table and was it priced separately. We were assured that the stool came with it. They only ever delivered the table. They took note of our complaint but never actually did anything. If you want to give to charity just give money directly to charity. Don't go into this shop, you can't trust them to deliver your stuff.

I have bought from rugby and nuneaton branches and no qualms...to my disappointment the coventry branch were very friendly with purchasing but delivery service was pathetic. The operator could not even tell me who is delivering and by the end of a long day still nothing...refering me to the manager the following day. We as the public support this charity the least we can get is a volunteer/sales assistant that wants to be in this foundation and not refer you to the manager. Disgrunteled customer.

Had arranged to have a collection of furniture that I wished to donate to British heart foundation. I was advised the collection would be between 09.00 and 12.00 pm.... They never arrived. Extremely disappointed as I have to work and took the time off. Will arrange with another charity as clearly they do not care about it when I called them they said they were running behind and I should have been told it could have been longer.....

Arranged a collection to donate my furniture, they cancelled and postponed to the next week. Drove up especially from London for the 9am - 5pm time slot to collect from my storage unit. They never called, I called a few times only to be told at 2pm that 'the driver tried to call you in the morning, you didn't pick up so they won't come today'. Strange as I was sat waiting for the phone call and didn't get a voicemail or even a missed call alert.... The woman on the phone was very rude and made it seem like it was my fault?! I offered to wait for another few hours if the driver could come back, but nope. I'd suggest donate to someone else that will come and collect when they say they will, and have better customer service! Looking at the other reviews, in not the only one this has happened to either.

Would like to say the young down syndrome girl on the door on Saturday collecting donations was a delight. Wish everyone had her zest for life and friendliness. You go girl and I hope you collected lots of money

We donated a high quality 3 seater sofa and leather recliner. However, despite a minor cosmetic problem with the leather the delivery driver chose to leave it. When collecting the sofa Bill and Ben were very rude and had no regard for my property. On a number of occasions I had to stand over them to stop them from damaging my property when they were getting the sofa out. I only hope that my donation will go to help someone but more importantly help the charity to save lives, volunteers and staff please remember what a difference your work makes and please respect people that donate furniture to you

I was walking to The British Heart Foundation with some very awkward bags and boxes for donation. I was having difficulty carrying them on the street. One of the shop assistants asked if I needed help and gave me hand. The manager should be pleased to have the kind of staff member that goes beyond what is required of there role. I hope my donations find good homes.

Arranged a collection online which was a joke from the start. I received a call the next day, they had ignored all my requests for the dates I had requested in a few weeks time and only accepting weekday. They wanted to pick up within a few days.Email confirmation I received had information about the collection. Including if the items were flat packed as long as there were instructions. So I took a day off work to wait for delivery, again a lie on website cannot tell you if it's AM or PM. I did receive a phone call 30 mins before they arrived and drivers were pleasant. They made a phone call and then told me they could not accept the wardrobes, due to them being flat packed. The only reason we couldn't get them down the stairs with them built was due to us recently having a loft conversion so we have limited height. So they have wasted mine and my husbands time after we carefully took them apart and labelled them up. We are now left with 3 wardrobes, baskets and drawers in our hallway and lounge with 2 young kids.I am absolutely disgusted with this and will not be donating again to this charity!!Had a pointless phone call with manager that doesn't care and all the information on the website and email is generic. Obviously can't think for themselves...

Good range of furniture, however it is quite expensive for a charity. £20 delivery charge irrespective of how much you spend is quite a lot. Delivery is however quick
