Such a great place to visit, the staff are always so friendly and helpful with questions.I have recently discovered making my own clothes and always feel able to pop in and ask about a pattern or material selection.Their range of materials and threads are exciting and they are always on hand to help you find colour combinations for your next piece.I would thoroughly recommend Karen and her colleagues to any new or experienced sewer.

I've been a customer for some time having attended several of Karen's courses. She has a knack for teaching & is so helpful whenever I need some advice. The shop is well stocked from knitting a scarf to sewing an outfit & all staff are super- helpful.

I can highly recommend this sewing shop for advice, purchasing sewing items, alterations and repairs and attending workshops. I have attended two workshops with Karen the owner and really enjoyed learning to sew bunting and cushion covers. Karen is very attentive, helpful and patient.

Absolutely love this shop and the staff!!! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and they have all the time in the world for you. Fantastic range of stock in fabrics, haberdashery and wool. Always willing to help and explain ways to do things and offer a good selection of classes with Karen covering a variety of skills and experience.Karen has helped me so much today with sorting my sewing machine out and showing me how to use some of the features that I’ve never ventured on my own but will in future! I can’t recommend her highly enough and will always be my first choice option.

We came to a sew Saturday session at the shop to make bunting. Karen and the staff were brilliant! Myself and my 6 year old daughter learned a lot and discovered she has a natural talent at sewing. We would highly recommend a sewing session with Karen and the girls. Thanks again, we’ll be back for another session soon x

I don't normally write reviews but was so delighted with Karen's help that felt I should share it. Karen sorted my problem with my overlocker which was actually a user error and simple. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all things sewing and nothing was too much trouble even though she was clearly busy. Thank you Karen!

Great service and advice, so nice to be in a fabric shop again and Karen was very friendly, I was only buying a zip but she gave me lots of help and advice on fitting it. Will definitely be returning.
