Popped into this place with a good friend visiting from America. We were walked through an amazing record collection and invited back the next day. Martin made time for us and shared stories around how he found the records. Left with memories - proper gem of a place;

A very interesting collection of both indoor and outdoor pieces to view but an owner who was odd. He mentioned on 3 occasions how Ralph Lauren had shopped there 3 times in as many minutes and when I asked the prices he was guarded and asked why I wanted to know? We felt unwelcome and uncomfortable., and decided to leave .

This place has a really eclectic collection of all sorts of things. When I visited about a month ago I saw so many things that I would have loved to own but unfortunately I live in a small cottage and obviously space is limited. I found the owner to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable and would highly recommend.

We popped in on a particularly wet Tuesday afternoon to have a browse and were made to feel particularly unwelcome. Our cheery “hello” was not even acknowledged by the staff - they were too busy to care.Edited to respond to the Owner:Firstly we were neither unkind nor unfair in our review merely accurate as to our experience.Secondly both your own website and your Google listing clearly state that you are open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 to 5!So if you don’t wish to open on Tuesdays and / or wish to focus on particular projects then by all means - but then close and update your details. That way potential customers won’t leave disappointed.

Some great pieces here; huge garden display outside and interesting items indoors. Was having a good time looking around and considering a purchase when the owner made a point of coming over to tell us how VERY expensive everything was and questioning our knowledge on a piece of furniture we hadn't even looked at, nor were interested in. Did we not look like we could afford your prices? You'll never know, because we won't be back. Shame really.

Visited today and wow, so many beautiful pieces! This is honestly one of the best antique places we’ve visited with a huge collection of high quality furniture from all over the world, and steeped in history.The owner was really lovely and happy to tell us how he acquired each piece we were interest in and where it came from, which is so important to me as I love to know its story! My favourites included a stunning dressing table from Mongolia, with exquisite carving and a tower of drawers that spent its years in a pharmacy, with a ladder to get to the highest level. It’s such a calm environment, I can’t describe how lovely the energy is here, I could easily spend all day looking at everything. The owner felt like an old friend we’d known for years, he made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back!

Put this on my list of things to do whilst on holiday as we frequently visit antique shops, reclamation yards ect. The items were stunning & such a wide variety but left in under ten mins because the man there was really rude which was confusing it was almost like it wasn’t open or we had interrupted his day. Very uncomfortable experience.
