Novotel Birmingham Centre

We had a work meeting here for the day so can't comment on the hotel rooms. Our meeting room was great, staff really friendly both front desk and sales office beforehand. Plenty of tea, coffee selection and snacks, good location a 15 min walk from Birmingham New Street and right by the canal. Some good lunch spots nearby too.

Wonderful first time stay. Honored our request for adjoining rooms which made it even better. Impeccable service. Extremely comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast. Inexpensive 24 hour parking.

I never write reviews but this time I had to. We had a lovely stay, great location. We sat at the bar after our day out and we met Marina and she was honestly the loveliest. She was gave us amazing service and I can’t thank her enough for making our night a great night. She needs a raise !!! Would come back to this bar just to be served by her and I can confirm she didn’t even ask us to leave this review I just wanted to.

We are probably on our fourth event booked now at Novotel through the amazing Tandy Sutherland. We usually book 20 plus rooms over a 2/3 day period as well as their meeting room and lunch facilities. We cannot fault their service, Tandy is so helpful, replies straight away and is very flexible when we need to add a couple of rooms or couple of lunches. I will be booking the next event very soon as very convenient for staff dotted around the country to meet centrally, very close to New Street Station. Thank you Tandy and Team

We stayed over for our Christmas Party, what an amazing hotel in the centre of Birmingham. From start to finish the whole experience was amazing, a little apprehensive from reading the reviews, but my experience was perfect in everyway and soon realised there was nothing to worry about. All staff encountered were friendly, good selection of products in the room, every eventually catered for with comb, shaver and sewing kit. Breakfast was great, we gave our room number and was asked if we’d have breakfast before, as this was our first time one of the waiters showed us where everything was and made it that extra bit special. The parking was a godsend underground and totally secure. Slept really well and we couldn’t hear any noise from the busy Broad Street, we will be back!

Really friendly and professional reception staff. Comfy bed and great location.Room was spacious. Only negative comment would be carpets really need replacing - the one in the room looked really grubby with some interesting stains, and one in the corridors had seen better days.

Spent 1 night at this hotel. Very welcoming by staff especially Ahsan and reception was very clean and well presented. Great room clean and fresh lovely facilities great nights sleep. Booked breakfast for the morning which was hot and tasty. Filled us up for the journey home.

Pleasant stay, good breakfast even though the butter is not with the croissants, some strange logic. The reason I scored 5, was the poor room detailing, couch was in poor state of repair and luggage wrack was very dirty and stained, bed was clean as were carpets. The internal room door wouldn't close, so there was whistling of air coming through the door all night. Bathroom was clean but needed re grouting. Expect more from Novotel.

We stayed for one night as we were going to a concert at the Utilitas Arena and this was the perfect spot.. nice room.. bathroom and toilet were separate rooms and a little dated but spotlessly clean. Check in staff were super helpful and we got a complimentary early check in which was a huge bonus. We had breakfast the next morning which was great value at £12 per head. great selection of Gluten Free items for me.. Thank you for everything. Looking forward to our next stay in January.
