They promise to call back - myself and many friends, but very few except some of the lucky and suicidal get help. So many that cry for help and probably the most genuine of needs are left to slip through the net. Shame on them

Have been referred to, and self referred to, Talking Change a few times over the years and have always experienced the people and service to be professional and caring.

My girlfriend referred herself here and they keep saying they’ve been trying to call her but she hasn’t had 1 call back at all! Complete scam of a company and they discharged even though they didn’t bother contacting her back

Thank-you to everyone concerned, from the initial phone consultation to attending a 6 week group with others, I would like to say Thank-you. Feel that I have learned so much about myself and others, and have the necessary information and thinking techniques to help myself regarding anxiety and certain phobias, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend this service to others.

Really bad. None of them pay any attention to what you actually tell them, my current therapist has horrendous breath like he eats out of toilets and I’m still getting appointments booked with him even though I asked for a new therapist 2, coming up to 3 weeks ago.All the scores they measure you on have gotten worse, much worse with my latest therapist. The worst thing is they genuinely don’t care about helping people, everything they say is designed to try and manipulate you off their lists in some way to improve their target matching.I’ve had a complaint in process for months because they’re so bad and I’m resigned to knowing it’ll be going to the NHS ombudsman now.

This service acts to cover the inadequacies of their comrades within the NHS. I'd went to them for help as my mental health had suffered due to my treatment working for the NHS within St James Hospital after being shouted at repeatedly by my line manager and bullied / harassed daily. This caused me to have a breakdown eventually going off sick. After disclosing to my GP i had plans to end my life i was referred but told TC that there could be a conflict of interest" if there was anyone working there who i had worked with in the past. I then went on to tell them of my experience within St James and Nelson ward in Gosport. They reassured me that there was no internal conflicts and told me to come for the assesment. The moment i got in there i was ushered into a small room and a tape recorder was put on the table and switched on. The was honestly like something out of a spy movie. They asked me if my job within the NHS was a contributor to my poor mental health. I was pretty vulnerable and easily steered and replied "no" because i wanted the help and counselling. A week later i phoned to find out about the assesment and the receptionist tells me i've been dropped from their service with no explanation why. These people are vile and corrupt. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I felt completely manipulated and have struggled ever sinse."

Been attending for about 6-7 weeks now and my scores show a decline in my mental state every week. The more I visit Talking Change, the more hope I lose. It is better for your mental health to not talk to them at all than to try get help" from them. They will expect you to just be fine
