Phantom Winger
We use to eat here when we lived in Preston, and always had a great meal and was always a nice atmosphere. Although I now live in North Yorkshire , in March 2022 we had a day trip to Cleveleys and called at the Phantom Winger on the way home back to North Yorkshire. Nice to know the food was still as good as when we lived there.

Phantom Winger
Made a visit to the Wacky Warehouse last week. The kids were very entertained the entire time, taables were clean and tidy, and Sophie was wonderful with the kids, seemed genuinely interested and really interacted with them whilst keeping on top of other duties. I'll be bringing them again.

I travel with work all over and eat at different eateries. I can honestly say this was the worst meal I've ever eaten. Chicken starters where just deep fried processed chicken strips, tastless and tasted like the oil hadn't been changed for weeks. The so called sizzling plater was luke warm,.a small and i mean portion of so called onions and peppers, 4 button mushrooms couldn't see the cheese topping nor the tea spoon of pepper corn sauce. Chips were tastless and had the same taste as the chicken strips and dont get me started on the onion rings just pure mush and no onions in site. Total waste of money AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs.

Came for food last night with some friends, was very pleased. Declan who served us was more than happy to help any queries we had, very polite and helpful! I decided to go for “the gravy one” which was absolutely amazing but could not finish it all!! The salt and pepper fries are fabulous too. Will be returning.

Felt like walking back in time . Very dated, worn, no vibes at all. Food was probably the worst breakfast I've been served . No wow factor, let's make that no factor. Presentation gives it the 2 stars.Only positive were the staff who managed to be friendly and muster a smile , 'everything okay ' every now and again.Despite being no other diners, toilet was disgusting - smelled like it had not been cleaned in months .Whilst struggling for more positives to write I'll say loads of car parking spaces !

I love burgers, I'm known for it. Occasionally I'm asked, 'is there anything that could improve your burger experience?' My answer is 'yes, a sausage on top, but who's going to do that?'Well guess what? Greene King have only gone and done it! It's called The Home Run and it's excellent. Great taste, well cooked, served hot and decent value which is getting harder to find right now.They accept blue light cards and we found the Phantom Winger to be clean with friendly staff and easy parking.Top-tip. If like us you are visiting on a weekend and aren't into over-hyped, sweaty, 7 yr olds running up & down the place then visit early. We were all done by 2pm and the Wacky Warehouse escapees were just beginning to emerge, bless them.Great visit overall, looking forward to going back.

Very quiet on Sunday morning about 10am, only myself, partner and maybe 3 other tables occupied so nice and quiet!Staff were very friendly, especially the chap serving behind the bar.Food came out promptly, but beans were cold unfortunately. Can't complain for such a large meal at a low price of £16 for 2 people, and the bacon was actually bacon unlike the stuff you get at other competing pubs like Weatherspoons!

Huge carpark need to register your number plateRestaurant was not very busyExcellent menu and excellent valueOrdered via the appQuick serviceUnfortunately the food i ordered was absolutely disgustingI had the salt and pepper chicken ,it was dry and the chips were hard and it was like someone had just tip a packet of seasoning flavour over the foodI was so hungry at the time I just ate it but now wish I'd said something.Should have took a photo of the powder flavouring left on the plate it was huge !But with that said I'd eat there again but just avoid that dish and hopefully other dishes are better!

Nice place but that's unfortunately all I have to say that's good. Staff were not very good. After trying 3 times to order they still didn't get one meal at all and another order incorrect. Then offered us a meal replacement that we tried originally which we were told was unavailable. The food arrived after a 30 min wait with very few people in the establishment. Unfortunately alot of the food was cold and my steak was cooked incorrectly.

The phantom minger has really gone down hill since the last visit, I don't think I would ever return. Vegan options not available, customers cleaning their own tables, no glasses at the bar, the place was filthy and an absolute shambles.
