Very good chippy. Fish n chips are spot on and the chicken burger is pretty good too, its a proper piece of chicken and lovely soft bread. Prices are reasonable

Haven't tried the fish and chips but the Chinese dishes were tasty when we visited. Service was very quick and efficient and the portions were a generous size. Price was very reasonable for the food.

Despite being Good Friday, it was such speedy and friendly serviceFish was perfectly fried, batter crispy and flavoursome. TOP gravy!The chip portions are huge!Prices so reasonable for the quality and quantityMy first time here - won't be my last!!

Well it is a very good chip shop and has proper Chinese style chippy curry sauce. Not the abomination with raisins in it :)

Fish and chips are really nice when freshly cooked. But don't go at opening time as you'll get the chips from the previous day. Peas like bullets too. Not mushy. They don't accept card payments either. Unfortunately they only seem to open as and when they want nowadays (25/8/23), so don't bank on them.

I have been looking for a good chippy since my local one, Didsbury Fish bar went right down hill and I am not a big fan of Fosters. I read a few comments on Facebook which said this one was good and although it is a bit of a drive from my house, I thought I would try it out. When I arrived it was very busy which was a good sign, and when I got my food I was not disappointed. Great traditional chippy chips, very generous portions - I thought they had given me a large, but it was in fact a small. Plus, they sell scallops which I love and hardly any chippies sell them. Everything was fresh and I was in and out very quickly. It was definitely worth the 15 minute round trip in the car and I would go back again.

Honestly don’t know why this has so many good reviews. It used to be a really nice chippy but it’s gone down hill massively. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, got home they’ve give me a portion of chicken balls and a sweet and sour sauce seperate? How is that sweet and sour chicken? The chicken was so hard and chewy that i didn’t eat it. The sauce is over vingerary that you can’t bare to eat it. The fish and chips my husband ordered was over cooked and he didn’t eat that either. What a waste of £20.40!!! Avoid at all costs!!

Just picked up a prawn satay and egg fried rice from this place and it was just incredible. Massive juicy prawns (lots of them too), not overcooked at all and lovely fresh veg. Really nice surprise to find that the food from here was of such high quality.Keep on doing what you are doing GG!

Lightly battered fish, chips and peas. All freshly cooked. Very nice but i thought it was a bit expensive at £9.20
