The Gym Group London Canning Town

Great gym in terms of size and equipment. Sadly same can not be said about the cleanliness.Male changing rooms stink of urine. Floor is filthy (don’t drop your towel).Yanga water machine broke for weeks at a time.

Good size and layout gym for the group. Please can you fix the Calf Press machine (completely rusted) and the two Matrix Stair Masters as they judder and stop after 5 mins stating no user registered.Otherwise it was quite a peaceful workout (for off-peak time on a Sunday late afternoon)

Canning Town is a very very spectacular place to go gym. You can meet very good and helpful staff there especially the new manager Reece. He helps the gym a lot and makes it a better place.

The gym itself is not bad, but sometimes gets way too overcrowded.But, the low rating is mainly due to the lack of care and maintenance. It usually takes several weeks to fix a machine. 9/10 times the yanga water is either not working or has no flavour. I pay monthly for this, yet every time I come to fill up my bottle, all I get is tap water.Also, AC is literally non existent..

Decent gym well equipped. Underground parking provided up to 3 hours for free. Tends to get very busy during weekdays afternoons especially Monday and Tuesday

On any given day about 30% of the equipment in this gym is broken.Cable equipment carabiners are always loose, someone is going to knock a tooth out on this stuff.Even the basic cheap stuff is missing like cable machine attachments.Even when app reckons the gym is at 40% and you will still be waiting in line behind two people to use a machine.The wifi is very spotty and with no cell reception you can sometimes get locked inside the gym, unable to access the gym’s app to exit. Braindead design.I will be leaving the company when my subscription is up.

This has the potential to be a good gym but unfortunately, the cleanliness of the place makes me uncomfortable. They seem to have removed all the sanitation points so you can't wipe down any of the machines that you use (and not just with a towel), which in turn means the multitude of people who have used the machines before you would not have wiped them down. The changing rooms/toilets are particularly bad and need a good deep clean.

I’ve been going to this gym for about 3 years now and there is this guy that got my attention throughout all this time. I believe his name is Enrico or Enriko i am sorry if i am spelling it wrong, I remember probably around a year and a half ago he started to come to this gym, he was a very reserved guy, not talking much but always there to help, he spotted me couple of time and had a good chat, very sweet guy. He was a bit chubby but very determined, to see all his evolution now becoming the biggest guy in this gym, going for a bodybuilding competition where he prepared for couple of months and still came out 3rd place ( btw natural) and now he is a PT as well, absolutely insane. What a legend you are mate, even if you don’t know you are inspiring a lot of people with your dedication, kindness and humbleness. God bless you and keep striving!!

Too many people in the gym at all times. The ventilation does not work because every time I go it smells really bad. It could be a great gym but they are too greedy with too many people joining for such a small place. Also, the PT trainer model in which they seem to own every machine makes you feel very bad if you don’t pay for it.
