The Mend-A-Hose Jungle
Definitely needs an upgrade, living in the past the way the new stadiums are these days, old and decrepit, must be a thing in Yorkshire for the away end to be open to the elements, not very good for health and safety either.

It's a proper old school rugby ground. Easy to get to easy to get a pint. Newer RL grounds could learn from this. Overall enjoyed it.

The Mend-A-Hose Jungle
Cas lad living in Doncaster now, I don't get chance to visit the Jungle often but when I do it just feels magical even if the result doesn't go the way you hoped. This old ground has so much character and memories for me. I am so pleased to learn of it remaining our home. Yes it's tired inplaces however the maintenence teams and grounds staff are doing well with what they have.

Great evening of rugby. Obviously, my team won. We sat in the main stand. Great atmosphere. Again, obviously, ground a bit tired. Needs updating.

I was so looking forward to the night but I was disappointed. The service I received from Elle to book into the hospitality was excellent but the experience on arrival could be better. Tge car parking experience was good, staff expected us and access to the ground was friendly and speedy. The immediate vibe was good with good music, food vans smelling delighful and fans mingling 80 mins before kick off. We went upstairs to the hospitality as we were late due to traffic. Once inside our drinks were on the table and our fellow diners we really friendly. A singer was live and OK but not great. The meal turned up and the pork was excellent as was the yorkshire pud but roast pota, toes were overdone as were the peas. One problem in the room was the sound when the interviews were done. The interviewer was loud enough but the 2 players were not and that needs looking at as I couldn't hear their thoughts on the game or their futures. Then the seating, that was the biggest issue for me, I realise the ground is old but it really needs investment. The old stands are rickety, old wooden seats with poor viewing and a lighting tower right in front of the seats. For a super league team I was truly disappointed.Big win for Saints and at 30-0, the 2nd half was meaningless.Castleford is a famous name but the venue is in real need of refurbishment and investment and so the hospitality overall for me fails, mainly due to the poor seating, view of the pitch and room used with poor sound.

Old and needs a revamp but I love it, when and if Cas ever get a new stadium they should try and still create a similar atmosphere to the jungle, close to the pitch

The Mend-A-Hose Jungle
Full of rugby league history. And still particularly under the lights, one of the best atmospheres at any ground in the league.

The Mend-A-Hose Jungle
Old school rugby ground. No roof on away fans stand, so pack your raincoat! Narrow border between pitch and stands, so you'll be close to the action. A variety of catering stalls, including a fabulous bakery stall when I was there, but I don't know if it's there at every game.
