I bought some material in Tobago. Lizzie has made it into the most wonderful dress. She kept me informed as to how it was going. She was friendly, professional and skilful. I wore it to my daughter's wedding and it was much admired. Fantastic service!

I recently took a long down coat in for a zipper repair. They were very clear with me about the cost to fix the current zipper or replacing the full zipper. It turns out that all they had to do was tighten the zipper so charged me nothing to do this. Amazing service, helpful, honest and thoughtful staff. Very pleased

What a gem this place is! My favourite jacket was unusable due to two zip faults. I was quoted £50 to replace the zips, but she said she would repair if she could. The job was done really quickly and I received a txt to collect. She had repaired the zips and charged me only £15. Nice people, great service. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for someone to alter your clothing then do not hesitate to come to Lizzie! She did an absolutely fabulous job at altering my leopard print coat, I could not be happier. The whole experience was just so smooth. She really listens to what you want and goes above and beyond! I will continue to use Lizzie's services in the future, so happy I found her. Stitch Xpress did an excellent job with my wedding dress and that of my 4 bridesmaids. The ladies working there were very friendly and helpful each time we visited. I'd ordered the bridesmaids dresses a size too big and they all needed a fair amount of work, each was perfect after the alterations. Likewise my own dress was too big, too long.. it had intricate lace detailing around the neckline and all the alterations were perfect.

Lizzie is lovely and does great work. It’s telling that people don’t mind the 4 week wait at the moment because she is in such demand with postponed weddings. Her workmanship is great. I have been going to Lizzie for years now for everything from fitting a zip, shortening trousers, adjusting a dress, making cushion covers … I have never been disappointed.

Lizzie was amazing! She did so many alterations and tailoring to our wedding outfits (as well as many other items).Nothing was too much to ask and she did an incredible job in such a quick time! I sent my friends and family there to get their outfits altered too!
