Streetly Crematorium

Not happy at all with the state of this crematorium. Have visited my Dads small ashes stone for nearly 23 years. Mom is also there now. they are all subsiding, we have had to take a small bag of gravel to fill a hole up under the stone. Its a disgrace!

We chose the cemetery back in 2017 to remember my husband's mother and step father. It was well kept and a pleasant place to go and remember our loved ones. Over the past couple of years, the grounds have got worse and are not looked after. The grass is overgrown in areas and leaves from the trees not cleared away. The most upsetting part, is the actual commemorative stones. The stones have started to push up from the ground and are all uneven and messy. Many of the visitors bring their own tools to try and tidy their own areas which should not be happening.

Very, very disappointed as to how this cemetery has been left to become overgrown and how untidy it has become! I am a regular visitor to my loved ones graves. What was once, a beautiful kept, peaceful place to visit, has now overgrown trees, left overhanging graves, making dark areas covering graves, unsafe, unsteady pathways due to overgrown roots that lift pathways up and today visited to find that every patch of grass in front of our loved ones graves have been Scorched to a dry/straw like mess!!!! The grass does not cover the areas up to the front of our loved ones graves making them look a total mess!lWe have paid for these plots and head stones and now they are a total mess!! What on earth is going on Streetly? You need to get this messy, overgrown cemetery to its former glory! Not happy at all!!

My review is of the Cemetery not the Crematorium. Lovely peaceful place, go there 3 times a week to visit my parent's graves. In the summer I try and spend as much time their as possible, sometimes upto an hour. Highly recommend this place for your loved one's burial.

I visit Streetly Crematorium every 1 to 2 weeks to tend my Mom and Dads resting place .Today , Mothers Day I was upset at the state of the place .Dead rotting leaves everywhere, unkept and untidy .This is a steady decline that’s been happening over the passed 5 or so yearsIt really needs to have a good tidy upRake up and move the leaves that have been there all winter so when people go to tend and tidy their areas it stays tidy and not gets covered in leavesBlowing them about with a leaf blower isn’t the answer obviously it just makes more mess.

This is a nice place with lovely grounds to walk round.The Chapel isnt very big and holds around 70 to 80 people. But plenty while the covid rules exsist.

My husband was cremated here in may, l found chapel, grounds and staff on collection so helpful and understanding

Very disorganized, no on site staff, extremely out dated.I can not see the place continuing should they not change with the times. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever.Tried to call for some advise and help got transferred to Willenhall very short and un caring approach.

Peaceful and always clean and tidy. Pretty with daffodils and other planted flowers.

Have just attended Mom and Dad's Crem plot...Mom has been there since 1997 and Dad 2010 ...I have got to say how disgusted we are with the state of the plot. It's dark, dismal, plot stones all skewey ..at one point looked like a rabbit had burrowed underneath one of the plots!, overgrown trees ..not lovely and pleasant how it was when we came to view it for Mom.,...it would be nice if the council in respect of the lovedones that are laid there to smarten it up abit!!!
