Abbey Veterinary Group, Paisley

Unfortunately our 15 year old dog was riddled with cancer and we decided to have her put to sleep. Abbey vets could honestly not have been more compassionate. The entire experience was really very beautiful,they made sure our wee Missy was sedated and comfy,she had everything she needed and went off to sleep surrounded by love.Our vet was named Rory,he was absolutely lovely and could not have done enough for us. Abbey vets have provided a first class service to our pets for 25 years now. We have been with Abbey Vets for 25 years or so. We have a relationship with our vet, they know my pet, and they know our family which makes a huge difference ( Frances especially it has to be said). Reception staff are excellent as are the nursing staff. Having a 24 hour service is a massive bonus, we have used this so many times.

As always the staff at Abbey are way beyond helpful. One of our horses did himself a mischief requiring urgent assistance. Arlene at reception was great in a crisis and took care of the call. Vet Camilla attended and explored all of the options and treatment possibilities. Unfortunately Paddy was beyond treatment and had to be put to sleep. I cannot express how wonderful Camilla was at such a difficult time Thank you so much for your calm, kindness, sympathy and expert knowledge. We are both extremely grateful. Jim & Shona.

My cat Marble needed to have an eye removed and vet Chris did an amazing job. It healed up perfectly and where she had discomfort before which sometimes reflected in her behaviour she is now a happy content little cat who loves cuddles and playing. Being blind made her very stressed and agitated when at the vet but Chris was able to handle her without causing unnecessary stress. She only has one eye now but still beautiful and happy.The nurses and receptionists are all lovely and seem to genuinely care about the animals that come in.

We can't thank all the staff at Abbey Vets enough, especially Sam, Jasmine and Julie, they went way over and beyond the call of duty,when our wee dog Kos took seriously ill, infact if it wasn't for them wee kos wouldn't be here today, saved her life ,took all their combined skill and kindness, but they somehow worked a miracle,

Been very happy with Abbey Veterinary Group Paisley & Greenock. Biggest thing for me is your out of hours service, not many vets offer this - it’s usually outsourced at extortionate prices. All my dogs have been seen and cared for so well - thank you! Vets and reception team are first class

Thank you so much for looking after Lola after her tongue accident today. Everyone was so nice, helpful, professional and supportive.All my dogs & cats have been treated at Abbey Vets for over 40 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend.
