It's unfortunate that despite being my leasing agents for 15 years and having charged thousands of pounds of agent fees, I recently received a terrible service as soon as I chose another company to sell my house over the last 2 months. Living abroad, it was a nightmare to get a response to my mails or even phone calls. There is no accountability from leasing consultants all the way up to the manager. When I did get through on the phone after days of chasing, I was confronted with rude staff.My house is already sold but the leasing team is holding onto the deposit of the previous tenant. I've sent multiple emails to settle the deposit after necessary Deductions but there is no response from the manager or the team. It's obvious that there is little interest from partners to make any improvements in working on the deteriorating quality. I won't recommend Leddingham Chalmers for leasing or selling property.

This company held up the paperwork in relation to my father's estate after his death to drive up their fees. They employed bad communication deliberately to ensure they could charge more. They exploited the worst time of our lives to line their own pockets. They took nearly 2 years for a simple settlement which only added to the emotional burden. Cannot express in words how upsetting this has been for our family. Do yourself a favour and find someone else to handle your buisness. Highly do not recommend.

I dealt with a number of the LC team over a period of about 12 months. They took care of my affairs covering bereavement, settling of estates and home sale. Fantastic service, very prompt with minimal fuss, which was exactly what was required during a hugely stressful time.Will 100% be using them again in the future.

Awful service, very unprofessional, you gotta chase them to do their job,since they can't be bothered even to keep you up to date on your case, nae communicating with customer, nor picking up the phone. Can't even bypass lass at the reception. If you chosen them, then you have to be a psychic, since they'll keep you in the dark.

Never again! These people preferred to NOT inform the landlord about a serious crime that was committed in their property. On top of that, they tried to deprive me of my deposit due to their own business interests with the other tenant on the contract. Very biased and unprofessional attitude, particularly from Diane Winstone!
