Lidl

While passing this location we chose to stop at Lidl to just grab a few bits.The stores parking is plentiful and it has electric charging which in this day and age a good thing.The store is clean and very modern.Whilst we were looking around we found mouldy cheese as shown in the photos. This was the first cheese we saw so we did not fancy buying any cheese after this.When we told a member of staff she did not really seem interested but then maybe she was just busy.The checkout staff was full of jokes and smiles, it was really nice to see someone who was so happy.The two star was only given for the cheese

This is a discount supermarket with a limited range of products and choices. Some different options of standard items. Prices are lower and all the tills are manned.

It's got a middle has Lidl.The highlight of the shopping experience. Onesies and angle grinders, a perfect pairing for Christmas gifts.And they sell beer and wine and gravy and carrots (and Kevin) and sprouts. Not to forget the crisps and nuts and cereals and bread and milk and of course they have the fastest checkout operators in the west.Did I mention the middle?

This is a nice Lidl store, always seems to be pretty busy, but the aisles are a little narrower than usual, or at least they seem to be. If another of the local stores has run out of something then try here, the often seem to have those bits you want but have missed elsewhere still in stock!

The UKs best croissants and petit pains au chocolat, and a very reasonably priced weeks shop too. Really helpful young man on the till

Took my elderly 85 year old father shopping to Lidl in Beverley. Wow I really didn't expect all the assistance we got from the checkout lady. My father had a trolley full of shopping, and I also had a trolley full. There was a chair at the end of the checkout which my father went and rested on, whilst I was about to start unloading his trolley onto the conveyer belt, the lady at the checkout immediately came round and helped unload. Then she took my father's bags and packed all the shopping, which gave me time to unload my trolley. After paying for my father's, I wasn't expecting the same help, but she too helped pack mine. Thank you so much, we will definitely use your store in the future.

Good variety of items in the centre isle. Good choice of food tinned frozen or fresh fruit bread and bakery products along with dairy products.

Great bargains every week. Staff always friendly and helpful
