Good home cooked food. The only serving waitress did a top job of serving even though it appeared to get busy.

We stopped for an early dinner, served from 5pm (no food 3pm till 5pm) and ate in the good size beer garden. Staff were friendly, the food was tasty & reasonably priced. Would eat there again.

Popped in for a bite to eat on the way to the rugby. The young staff members were happy, friendly and helpful. They made you feel very welcome. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommend popping in if you are down this way.

“Avoid This Place!!” I’m utterly shocked with The Pirate Inn my 40 year old Danish Down syndrome son was face timing me to say goodnight and I could hear the bar staff bullying him in the background and then they kicked him out because they said their policy doesn’t allow Down Syndrome people.A pub in Penzance called (The Crown) was very nice and accommodating to my son so 5 stars to them

Visiting Land's End from Lostwithiel and needed a family friendly place to eat that didn't cost a fortune, this place was perfect. There are 6 of us (2A 4C) and we didn't book a table, the staff were very accommodating. My young daughter has a specialist medical diet and then lovely lady that took our order was fab! Between us we had steak, burgers & gammon and the portion sizes were generous to say the least. They had a small park outside with a big tree swing, which was a hit with the kids! Would definitely recommend and visit again next time. All in, the bill was £88, bargain!
