Citrus Hotel Coventry by Compass Hospitality

Me and my 3 friends booked a family room at citrus hotel. The stay was really fantastic. Loved the facilities and customer service. For a price like 67£ it is really wonderful to have a room like this and the facilities it offers. Many thanks to citrus hotel for the lovely stay with them. Looking forward to have more stay at citrus hotel whenever I am going out.

Stayed recently for work, the staff were friendly, but the room was not clean, the bath panel was hanging off, the chairs and sofa had dirty stains on the arm rests. Meals where very basic. The dining area chairs were stained. The mattress was horrible. Just felt like laying on springs. Not the comfort promised on the website. If i paid the £96 out of my own pocket i would have been very disappointed. Definitely needs a revamp.

Here for a business meeting. Really friendly and helpful staff, good spacious venue. They've gone full on-board with genuine period 90s decor, which is quite unusual to find these days, gives the place quite a liminal vibe. I didn't use the accommodation, so haven't rated that.

I stayed here for work and it was really lovely. The staff members were polite, kind and helpful. Dean was exceptional; he has the heart of gold and is obviously doing something he is very passionate about.The food was tasty and enjoyable. The hotel was very quiet, clean and relaxing. I would recommend upgrading the gym, changing the lightning in the executive suite and adding sockets near the night stand.But overall it was a pleasant stay.

After our recent stay at citrus Coventry, I thought I'd give you some feedback.The room that we stayed in was large but that was the only good thing about it. The bed was so hard that the floor would have been more comfortable. I guessing that it was an old mattress and the springs had gone as no useable one would be that hard. Neither of us had much sleep. The carpet looked as if it had recently been cleaned but obviously only in the places that (I'm guessing) had been vomited on. There was also a smell in the room that wasn't actually very nice.The breakfast was the only thing that was any good. There wasn't even anyone around to complain to before we left.

Lovely staff; the lady waited for me 30 min extra at night to allow late check-in otherwise I would have had to sleep in the station! Food is nice, the room is very clean and spacious.

I can't say a lot about my stay because I didn't get there till 2am and had to leave for work at 8am that morning. But the staff were nice enough to let me in and came across really friendly although it was so late. The room seemed nice enough but again I wasn't there long enough. I will say there was some nasty stains in my bath so I'm glad I didn't need a shower. The hotel was easy enough to find being on a main road I just found its in the middle of no where though, nothing near by in honesty.

Used the conference room for a work meeting. Very clean and tidy room with plenty of drink and sweets available in the room. The staff are helpful and polite. Also free parking and WiFi. Would say its overpriced but seen as I never paid it didn't affect me personally.

After a long journey or a hard days work, this is the place you want to come back to. Spacious (huge) room,very well looked after, piping hot shower,Great restaurant, varied menu caters for everyone, chef is brilliant.staff are polite and professional, very comfortable large bed extra pillows if needed. In all i could not have asked for more . I will be back.

The best thing about this hotel is James. He could not do enough for us, was so friendly and is an asset to the hotelI stayed at the Citrus Hotel for work purposes so luckily didn't have to pay for the room for the week myself otherwise my complaint would be a bigger one. There wasn't enough members of staff, the dinner menu didn't change all week but the meals were pretty good.. as long as you ate before 8pm otherwise the kitchen is closed (no communication about that either) rooms were a bit dusty which concerned me a bit in the current climate how clean the rooms were. I understand that since covid the hotel has lost a lot of staff, otherwise this place, I'm sure would be much better organised. Christine was also welcoming. Just a few things I think the hotel needs to know to pick up on as I know I wasn't the only one who noticed certain issues. I would however visit this hotel again if I ever happen to find myself in Coventry again as I met some amazing people during my stay and had a really good time.
