Beef stew was very tasty but small portions. Dumplings overcooked. Actually crunchy. Haddock fresh and tasty but again small portions of chips. A pity.

Is this what pub food has come to now? For £16 I found this an embarrassing portion size for the money, genuinely looking children’s menu size. with the burger itself about palm size, there was a mere handful of chips placed in a deceiving holder. Now the pub itself was really nice, clean, light and the waiters were friendly, and screens for sports, but overall was left disappointed and most importantly still hungry after this over priced meal

Saturday late afternoon, just before the Dulwich Hamlet FC home game ends, the Cherry Tree is busy, but you'll still find a few places. A pint of Guiness and a portion of chips come at around £10, not the cheapest around here but not the most expensive either. The atmosphere is good, the sofa on which I enjoy a book and my acquisitions is comfy, staff are friendly and service is swift! What more could one want?

The Cherry Tree is an absolutely lovely local pub with plenty of space for crowds big and small. There’s sometimes a fire alight on cold nights, and you’re always greeted with a smile. Good Young’s ales on tap, and a satisfying menu of pub food options done to a high standard.

Bit quiet for a Friday afternoon but a couple of pints in the beer garden set up the weekend perfectly. Prices are what you'd expect in the area. Fast friendly service. I'm looking forward to having another drink in The Cherry Tree soon.

I've had a very bad experience in The Cherry Tree, and have suffered discrimination and prejudice from a pub manager who suffers from unconscious bias. Thus, as a medical marijuana user, I regularly smoke weed to help with depression and anxiety. However, I have been told by the pub manager not to come to the pub if I smell of weed. Hence, in my opinion, the pub manager is clearly discriminating against medical marijuana users. I feel as if my human rights and have been violated, since the pub manager is judging me on my smell, and also saying things like I don't care what you so in your spare time." To which I replied

Really surprised by just how good the cherry tree was. We hired out the back area of the beer garden for a birthday and they did such a good job. All the staff were helpful, the food was really good quality, the bar was well stocked and had a good variety of beers on tap, and the pub itself was well maintained inside. Have been past without going in many times before but will be going in more now

Shame for the review to be ruined by poor customer service. We booked an area in the 'Tree house' for the Women's WC final. I was ordering food at the bar and when the barmaid asked for my table number, I started trying to explain that I was in the back area with no table numbers. Mid-sentence another barman interrupted me and said you're going to need a table number." I then resumed my sentence to him to explain that I was at the back corner of the gard... "We're going to need your EXACT table number to take a food order..."... So after being interrupted twice. I walk all the way back to my table to check for a number. As I thought
