Lots of parking. Plenty of open space for kids to let off steam. Bought lunch from the food cabins which was good and ok prices

Promenade Park Car Park
This is a brilliant place to take children or even just for a day out they have fish and chip shops and ice cream parlours. They also have a petting zoo and some sand parks where you can build sand castles or have afternoon tea on a boat.

Promenade Park Car Park
The Promenade Car Park allows reasonable access to the sea wall, refreshment kiosks, petting zoo, crazy golf and public toilets. It also provides a pleasant walk, starting from the kiosks, which can take you to the statue of Earl Brynoth or, in the opposite direction, to the quayside where various old Thames Sailing Barges can be found. Additionally the area around the Quay is the Jolly Sailor pub, Fish on the Quay restaurant and the Barge Tearoom. Not forgetting the fresh seafood outlet near the lakeside play area and kiosk. Oysters at 75p each were something we just could not miss! The Carpark can be paid for either by cash or card and some areas of it have a grass covering. The latter was not a problem for us but others may not be quite so comfortable with it.

It's got a good hard surface and there was plenty of space, which is hardly surprising when it costs £7 to park for the day. We parked elsewhere.

useless website if you try to renew your anual parking ticket. Worst website ever.
