Decided to go to this place for my 31st birthday as organised by my wife.We were both dissapointed with the service and food.To begin with the reception staff member was rude when we had given a courtesy call before hand letting them know we could potentially be slightly late to our booking, we was told that we wouldn't be able to have our booking any longer and the doors would be closed so we would not be able to come in which left us confused, she had then suggested she would go speak to her manager and returned to let us know that it would be fine for us to still attend for our booking. We ended up coming 10 minutes late to our booking due to an accident on our journey and when we arrived we were met by a annoyed receptionist who looked like she did not even want to work there. She told us we would lose time on our booking for being late, to our surprise when we made it to the restaurant it was empty with hardly any customers there which further confused us as to why there was so much commotion about us being slightly over time like as though it was busy and others would be affected by us.Moving on we was then introduced to how the menu works by a staff member who barely spoke english so we had difficulty understanding what he was saying let alone how the menu worked and then he was quick to rush off without any further support. We was left to try and figure out the menu and how the orders worked which took us a bit of time to get our heads around. The food was not the best to say how amazing the place looked, I can definitely agree the bau buns were hard and were the worst iv had as though they were just warmed up. The Brazilian grills had some decent meat which I decided to just re-order several times as I was not a fan of many of the other dishes we got.The whole experience felt like a rush as though they just wanted us in and out of the place even though food was delayed on several occasions and sometimes coming out all at once. When we tried to speak to another staff to get a better idea of the menu, she could not speak English and had called another staff member who also struggled to get her words out but was able to finally understand each other to engage what was required for us to do.The icing of the cake of it all was that towards the end my wife had a written request which was put in our booking. This was a surprise cake to be bought out for me for my birthday. A huge dissapointment when as soon as the waiter who initially seated us had been observing that we had finished eating and in the most unprofessional manner rushed over with our bill even though we never asked for it, he then was quick to take our payment then and there and did not even give us a chance for any words before rushing off again after throwing the receipt at us. We had no chance to even ask about our birthday cake request or he did not even ask how we found everything.Overall rude staff members, no professionalism, seemed they did not want to be there.Food was not great for the price charged and was not worth it at all.The only good thing was the decor of the restaurant which cannot be faulted. But would I ever come back? HELL No!! and would definitely not recommend any one to this branch either. Was a let down for my birthday meal and hope these points are taken on board to fix up their staff and how things are run for future reference.

Outstanding quality for the price! I’ve never ordered all you can eat and received that high of quality food. Specifically the spicy salmon sashimi , amazing! Great interior aesthetic!

The food at SAKUSAMBA was very good quality food and definitely worth the money! We had payed £45.00 each for the evening buffet, the place itself was beautiful! I do feel that the service needs to be 10/10 however I’d give it a solid 8- i feel that they could have been a little more welcoming!

We visited on the evening of 31/08 to celebrate our anniversary with the 25% off summer promotion. Personally, it's really expensive for what it is with the normal price of £45.50 per person to dine in the evening (we paid about £34 per person). You basically get to order 7 dishes per person per round; although I can't remember how many rounds we were entitled to. Most of the sushi was kind of hit and miss and tasted very similar; however, I've got to say, the salmon sashimi was the best thing on the menu (with no additional charge) - very fresh, creamy and I pretty much ordered it every round. The one other thing that really stood out was the cap of rump - it was so juicy, tender and flavourful! The rest of the Brazilian grill dishes were dry and hard unfortunately and there were times it was so chewy, I had to spit it back out. All the fried dishes we ordered were either bland, dry or too oily. The prawn and octopus salad we ordered just tasted of sweet syrup dressing - there were 3 Prawns but can you believe, only 2 thin slices of the octopus tentacle (about the size of a 20p). The service was good at first with food coming out very quickly, and then after the first round, there were around 30-40 minute delays until the next round came and when they did, they would miss around 4-5 dishes leading to use having to chase it up with different waiters - some of which we didn't even receive in the end. Overall, it was nice to experience both japanese and Brazilian food in one place but not somewhere that I would go again.

Come for a birthday. There were 6 of us. It’s £47 eat all you can 4plates each per 12mins if you finish them ones you ordered as waste can be charged. Food took awhile as I ordered 4 dishes it came quite fast but it taken almost 1 hour for the other dishes to come out for the other people we came with because it was all sushi they made it altogether instead of bringing it out one by one. Which luckily we all just shared anyways. Lovely deco and modern setting and honestly the bbq grill meats is really nice and tasty.

The place looks stunning, it’s a typical place where everyone goes for that instagram picture (they have area for taking images)… the issue is the food.Went for dinner and there was about 12-15 other tables being used… so pretty empty really. You can order 4 items per person on a tablet then have to wait 12 minutes to order again… it’s understandable as they don’t want you to waste food and to make you wait to drink more… issue is ordered 4 items got a beef roll which was hardly warm then it took 25 minutes to get the rest of the items… and after ordering another 4 yet again had to wait ages for them to come… the hot items weren’t hot at all… the meat tasted like it was cheaper cuts left in marinade for ages and definitely wasn’t at the quality of a number of cheaper all you can eat brands in Manchester. For just under £50 for what you actually got was shocking.DON’T waste your time and money

Amazing food and great place and vibes. But the service is a bit questionable, with the servers being really really quiet when explaining the dishes and almost accidentally charging us 48£ extra for something we had not ordered, if we had not looked through our bill before paying. They were nice.. but the service was just really clumsy. The supposedly clean glasses on our table had leftover lipstick stains too. The best and most professional service we received that night was from the super nice bartender who let us know if we needed anything.

An Instagramable place with a great selection of food. Guests can order 6 items at a time every 15 minutes for a 2 hour period. Food arrives, quick and is well presented. Staff are very friendly and service is exceptional. Drinks menu is also very good.... A super place to go with friends.
