Good size car park, at the entrance to the kids playground, and grassed area which is great for kids to run wild, safely.

Free parking for cars and coaches. Sensible approach to attract more visitors to the park unlike the seafront where paid parking is the preferred method. Onsite café and toilet facilities are available. Plenty of things to see in the park plus a play area for the kids. Ideal place for exercising your dog's.

Excellent park for a walk or for the little ones to enjoy some nature.Are plenty wild animals to see ( rabbits, squirrels, ducks and different other birds.The play area is well equipped and maintained, with plenty different options to play with.There are also some tennis courts which are excellent to do some extra exercises.Relaxing experience all around the year.

It was about 6pm I'd dropped my wife at the hairdressers on Chester Road, then drove up to Barns Park and parked in the car park, putting the dog lead on the dog and walked around the lake .My advice if your thinking of taking your dog for a walk take a torch with you. There's very few lights when you're walking around.

I'm a carer for a young disabled man and loves the slide here but unfortunately that is his limit there is nothing else there that he can use as he has limited mobility as alot of play areas there is more for climbing. There is only one swing which is a tyre swing he can go on and it is hardlys ever there
