If i could give more stars I would.This restaurant is absolutely amazing.We've eaten there numerous times in large groups, and the food and service has always been exceptional.It's BYO alcohol so no paying £5 for a small bottle of Becks.The staff have always super friendly and attentive, and the food is amazing.Well done to all involved with the Spice Village, you're showing how it can and should be done.Highly recommended.

The food here was exceptional! Grilled lamb chops were tender and flavoured perfectly. Lamb biryani had the perfect level of spice and one of the best I've had. Thank you Spice Village

Amazing curry here tonight for our family of 12. We booked last minute and they were really accomodating. Really fresh, yummy food. Lovely staff who provided a birthday dessert and candles for us. Will definitely be back!!

After a quick phone call on a Saturday night they confirmed they just about had a table free. I wasn't prepared for 'Bring your own bottle' so had to settle for soft drinks. Food was excellent. We had starter and mains and both main dishes were a bit different to standard Indian options but were really good. And the service was quick enough without rushing us through.

Absolutely amazing food. We have tried lots of curry takeaways in the area and this is by far the best. Unlike the others it's not just full of sauce and a few pieces of meat, it's actually full of meat which is tender and well cooked and the flavours are amazing! Will definitely order from here again!

Food overcooked. Vegetable curry side was like slop.Sorry don't know if they were rushed with an order for 7 people but this has put me off curries possibly forever.. bring back lazzats who did real quality good Indian food and not just overcooked tough meat and slop.

First time visitor and obviously didn't know what to expect! Very busy inside and seemed to be serving plenty of take aways! My Sag Chicken was really good and Peshwari Naan was lovely and fresh. My dining party also rated their food and quantity as excellent. Recommended.

Third time in a row that we've not eaten until over an hour after being seated.This restaurant seem to book all tables in at the same time, then patrons just have to wait indefinitely for their meals. We were a party of 13, seated at 7.30pm, got our starters at 8.45pm and our mains at 9.30pm. They'd booked another party of 12 in for approx 7.45pm as well as other tables.The food is also hit and miss, especially with the spices. Last night's food was nice but the time before everything had far too much chilli, making even a shashlik very spicy. I won't be returning.
