For what is a very difficult thing to experience in losing someone you love, Karen and her team at E Hooper & Son Funeral Director in Bath took the load off our shouldersKaren from the outset made the experience feel so personal and privileged you felt your family was in safe hands for that next step forward which is always so painfulShe kept us up to date with proceedings and nothing was too much trouble in sorting what we hoped to achieve in making Dad’s funeral a positive, loving experience as much as possibleDad knew a bit about funerals, hard not to when he was Mr Hooper and a funeral director for most of his life, but he met Karen a few times and watched her work even though long retired. He thought she was a very good funeral director and as his daughter I know if he actually voiced that, it was high praise indeedSo thank you Karen and your team for your caring. Keep up that wonderful leadership that I know gives not only our family but every family that comfort needed at such a vulnerable timeYou make a huge difference, thank you

E Hooper & Son recently directed my Mother's funeral. I wish to say that all of their staff, from the director and arranger to the bearers and hearse driver, were utterly professional and sympathetic. They all helped to add a sense dignity and respect to such a sad occasion. The organisation of this event was made so much less difficult by the help and support that was given to myself and family by everybody at Hoopers and all I can say to them is thank you.

Jodie and the team at Hoopers were very considerate, understanding and professional in their dealings with us. Their communication either by phone or email was excellent. Nothing was too much for them especially when we changed the content of the service booklet several times. I do not hesitate in highly recommending them.

At what is one of the hardest and most stressful times you can go through when you lose a loved one, then comes an endless list of things that need to be done when all you want to do is lock yourself away and know you can’t!The choices of and decisions of funeral home, venues, flowers and so much more need to be made. It was one of the easier choice for myself and the family to chose G F Hunt funeral home as we had used them before and they did us proud then. Yet again they did us proud. Their service whilst being totally professional was also warm, caring, compassionate and personal.Every detail was completed exactly how we wanted from planning the funeral to making mum look amazing for our chapel visits.So Myself, Marc,Kirsty, Ashley, Kev and Vanessa would just like to say a huge huge thank you to each and everyone who looked after us at G F Hunts and creating lovely memory’s we will all hold when our thoughts turn to the day we laid to rest our wonderful mother, Nan and great grandmother.Thank you G F Hunt.

Karen and the team were simply fantastic. Everything they did was with dignity and empathy. My father’s funeral was the best we could give him and a large part of that was thanks to this team. When the inevitable happens to my Mum, we’ll be back here. Thanks again to all the team

Myself and my brother and my uncle was maded to feel very comfortable and at ease when we all went to our appointment with Karen at the bath branch of E Hooper and son funeral director, she maded us feel that we had known each other for years she explained the whole process of our mum/sister funeral plain and explained how it works, she took interest in what we had to say but also an interest in what kind of person our mum/ sister was like as a person, she let us know all the way through out our chat at our appointment that she was always at the end of the phone if we needed to talk or as any questions about our mum/ sister funeral,On the day of our mum/sister funeral Karen travelled with our mum/ sister to our chosen Crematorium and once she and her follow staff member arrived the first thing that Karen did was to resure me and my brother that we were both stronge and how proud our mum would be as we said our final good bye to her ,Karen asked if we would like the rest of the family to go in first or would we like the family to walk with us behind mum coffin ⚰️ Myself and my brother chose for all the family and close friend to walk in behind our mum , all the way through Karen and her team showed us respect and digerity not just for us as a family but also our loving mum we chose to keep the curtains open after our mum service so every one who wish could say there finial good bye to our dear mum ,Yet again Karen and her team was out side waiting for Myself and my brother after the funeral to again her support for us resuring us about things ,Karen and her great team at E Hooper are son go far more then they got to there so combatant about there job and in the way the whole team care about not just there clients who gose and see them to arrange there love one last days on this earth but there care of the person who has passed and the care and the respect they receive as wellA very big thank you Karen and your team your one very caring and supporting team thank you so so muchFrom Lucy watts and Michael Webb( daughter and son of the lateKathleen beryl webb)
