Lake View Veterinary Centre

The few times I have had to take my rabbits to Lake View vets, I have been impressed. They have saved my Ollie's life when he had GI Stasis. He did have to go to the out of hours too to stay overnight but that was fine. I would recommend them to anyone and when we get a dog in February, it will be going there too if needed.

Lakeview Vets Thrapston are absolutely amazing. Very kind and professional in good times and sad! I will never go anywhere else. I would highly recommend this Vets. Top class service!!

Both the Thrapston and the Burton Latimer practices are wonderful. I always feel reassured by them and know that my pets are recieving top quality care. Staff and friendly and very well informed.

Really friendly staff, loads of parking and we had virtually no waiting time to see the vet. Spacious waiting area too. (We visited with my daughter's pet rat)

This was my first visit and we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff. Parking is great. Clean, bright reception area and everyone was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. My dog is nervous at the vets, but even he appeared to be more comfortable and less stressed than when he's been to other practices. Would highly recommend.

Well what can I say? Lakeview vets are absolutely fantastic. I brought my cat in at extremely short notice due to a nasty injury she had sustained that day. They were so understanding of the situation, saw her quickly and advised on the plan of action. They listened to me, were so gentle and caring of my pet and did surgery the same day. I cannot praise the staff enough. Unfortunately I do not know their names, but the lovely lady at the front desk was absolutely fantastic and chatted to me about it all. The lovely vet was a superstar. She explained her thoughts and why she would operate the same day. I was kept informed at all times and reunited with my cat that evening. There are not enough words of praise I can heap on the vet practice or it's staff. They are absolutely wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for helping my pet xxx

Shockingly expensive. In all a very bad experience. Needed to have our cat PTS as was very unwell with a thyroid problem. He was 15 years old. On arrival I asked if we could pay upfront, and was refused. After the euthanasia, we took our cat with us. A fee of £250 was charged! I asked for a breakdown, and was told 'that's the price' very rudely, I felt. I will never use this vet practice again and will advice others not to either!

Dr Becca is a fantastic vet, would highly recommend her and LakeView to anyone. All the ladies on the desk are also helpful, friendly and patient. Thank you lakeview ❤️ (from one happy Chihuahua owner)

We took our cat for an appointment as we noticed he was unwell. He was very distressed and we were told by the vet that he had to be put down, they said they could do it straight away but we took him home to comfort him and take him back the following day if he got any worse which he did in the early hours. We took him back to the vets when they opened. They told us that he had to be put to sleep which I agreed to. I asked what the price was and was told it would be £182, I said that seems expensive and he said it wasn’t negotiable. We didn’t get asked if we wanted to stay with our cat while he was put to sleep. He told us to wait in the waiting room while they done it. Very overpriced compared to other vets locally. No compassion shown during the process. We decided to bring our cat home to bury as the price for the cremation was extortionate compared to other vets. Will not be using this vets again.☹️
