Loch Ness Shores Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Site itself is very good, pitches are a good size and staff are very friendly and helpful. Shop and cafe on siteWould be a higher rating but the showers, while clean, weren't great and the lights turn off far too quickly meaning you're showering in darkness if nobody else comes in...Location looks good on a map but it is a reasonable drive to anywhere, as most tourist attractions are the other side of the water

A great site to visit if touring Scotland. Only a minute to the shores of Loch Ness.The site is clean and tidy, staff friendly. Toilet block, showers and laundry and dish washing facilities always up to scratch. If it wasn't for the fact its over a 12 hour drive from my home town I would be back soon.Just one thought if doing a touring holiday of Scotland 2 nights here will be enough as if you haven't seen Nessy in the first few hours I doubt if it will appear.

Great site, the drive down to the site just shows how immense the loch is. We were given a pitch with a view of the loch and woke up to see a rainbow over it. The facilities are spotlessly clean. The shop sells hot drinks, pastries and cakes which are lovely for breakfast. The shop is the best we have seen on the C&CC circuit selling local produce and souvenirs. It would be lovely if this was the norm on all sites. The staff are lovely and obviously take pride in the site. Thanks for an amazing stay.

The greeting we received on arrival was very welcoming and friendly. The facilities on site are absolutely spotless and by far the best of any site that we visited on our 7 trip.We had a great view of the Loch from our pitch and will definitely be returning next year. Many thanks to all the site staff.

Nice spacious site, friendly wardens and lovely cakes available from reception.There was a café which would be good for campers, if it was open. A small dog walk & very little else to do without walking, or driving on the single track road. Most pitches have no loch view & the site has a neglected appearance. By the wash block there is a huge raised planter full of dead plants. It would be good if full of herbs. The pods look very distressed, a coat of varnish might help. For us it was not worth the long single track road to get there.I did a review like this for the camping & caravanning club but it seems to have gone missing!

Was in Foyers. Not actually the camping area.. Still relatively nice. Buses only run to 4pm and very little to do. Small area but really full of nature. The Falls of Foyers (warerfall) are brilliant.

What a fabulous campsite with amazing views and right next to loch ness, and a stoney beach , that is ideal for swimming and kayaking etc. Every single member of the staff was warm friendly helpful and engaging we could not have asked for anything else. The facilities are exactly what you need and cleaned to a very high standard. The shop offers a good choice of food and general items, and the best homemade cakes especially the carrot cake. They also offer vegetarian and vegan food which i was delighted to see. We highly recommend the site and staff and we will be back thank you

This is a beautiful site, spacious and right on the Loch. Excellent facilities and a great on site shop that does home made cakes and coffee alongside a range of other goods. Friendly, helpful staff and very welcoming; helped us find the perfect pitch for our two dobermans. Entry onsite is 2pm onwards due to planning constraints. Over the three days we were there, contractors were upgrading the electrical hook up points, which meant intermittent power during the day. If possible, it would have been better to do this during a quieter period and let people know when the power was being cut. Anyway, no doubt all works completed by now. There is a lovely circular walk around the site and up to the waterfall. And a good cafe and shop up past the falls as you reach the road. Look out for red squirrels along the route, hope you have more luck spotting them than we did! There are nearby places to eat, hotel within easy walking distance. We didn't eat out, but heard good feedback. The views around the Loch shores are beautiful.

We stayed here for 1 night, and I wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the campground and amenities. The washrooms were clean, and showers were hot. The grass and pads were well manicured. Lots of space between slots too. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived! I would highly recommend this site, the drive in is beautiful!
