Scribbler

Scribbler is undoubtedly one of, if not the best card shop in Leeds. It's modest in size but more than makes up for it with its selection. Scribbler's specialty, in my opinion, is it's great variety of somewhat distasteful cards -- there's something for every occasion. If you're looking for a run of the mill card then this isn't the place for you but there's plenty of standard card shops littered across the city. They sell a few other bits and pieces as well but let's be honest, it's a card shop. They accept card payments and also sell stamps and pens so if you need to post a card on the fly, you can get it all here. It's located right in the city centre, not far from the Headrow, so it's in a great spot that's easy to get to. Recommended for a visit, just for a chuckle at the cards.

Loved it! Lots of funny and unique cards. Bought myself a lovely (and slightly cheeky) notebook from there - better quality and cheaper than Watersones or Paperchase by far. Lady on the till was lovely too.

Didn't buy anything. This shop used to be the best but now most of the cards are either really old and seen 100 times before or just not very funny. It's fine if you want sweary cards or stuff about drinking, but if you want more intelligent humour you are better off going to W.H.Smiths.

Looks really good for a card and quirky gift shop. Didn't spend long enough to do it justice so will need to visit again. Some really amusing cards in there for the right recipients so definitely worth a look. There's a real market out there for this kind of stuff and the competition just isn't quite up to the mark!

The funniest card shop I've been to. Spend 20 minutes giggling at the cards everytime I go. If you're feeling a little low and your passing get yourself in, I guarantee it will cheer you up! Great shop!

One of the best card shops I've ever purchased from.I visit and purchase from this store several times a year.It has a good range of cards and some gifts for all occasions.I highly recommend a visit , especially if you have a fun loving personality and or cheeky or naughty personality too.
