Bensons for Beds Reading

Visited at the weekend to look at and potentially buy a mattress. The lady who showed us around was very helpful but also very pushy, it's clear they have strict targets to hit. We had a budget higher than the mattresses we were shown and yet they were forcing us down the route of an ex-display mattress instead of new.The main problem, and the reason we didn't go ahead with the purchase, was the manager. The lady who was dealing with us was new to the job and yet the manager was very derogatory and rude to her in front of us. That's definitely not how you manage people or a retail store!

Really helpful knowledgeable salesman in the shop quickly worked out what sort of bed I was looking for and gave me just enough options to chose from so I didn’t get overwhelmed with choice. Buying process was easy and flexible. I was given a delivery date that they stuck to. Delivery was kind, smiley, chatty, helpful, courteous. Great job team!

They took the stress out of my life my delivering my bed system on time and assembled it for me. Well done! Next review will be the 30 night challenge for the mattress, keep an eye for my review!

From store in Reading link retail park to Delivery and service . The delivery guys who did the first delivery Calum white and Kieran Rayner were fantastic and so professional. They worked so hard to deliver all the items to the room of our choice . They deserve a special mention and acknowledgment from your management team as they are making your organisation proud . Second delivery was done by Tom and again very courteous and professional. We extend our thanks to Mr Mohammad ( store manager ) and Sami ( sales person) for giving us amazing service . The service here was great, they guided us through the options available and made the choices easy. The new bed and mattress were delivered on-time, the old bed removed for recycling, and the delivery guys constructed the new bed and removed all the packaging. We were very happy from start to finish.

DO NOT BUY FROM BENSONS - as you will see from all of the other reviews, they are taking your money and not fulfilling orders. My order is 5 months late and I've had 4 promised deliveries where no one has shown up and no one has communicated to me. The stress and admin is not worth it, trust me. Buy your bed elsewhere.
