This garage is the best I know in the area. They are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about jobs large and small. They rebuilt my Volvo's engine but, recently fitted a new water pump in my Kodiac. Duncan, the proprietor is outstanding. .

Ownership change ignore reviews before 2017 now excellent service and personally I cannot rate highly enough. Duncan is incredibly knowledgeable and is a refreshing change to other garages I have used in Harrogate before. In our family we have 5 series and 3 series BMW of all ages and mileage’s and Duncan has always diagnosed and successfully fixed the problem no matter what it was. I would happily recommend to all to use this garage, feel free to read my review on Roundwood garage and you will see I have very high standards and expectations. I am a true petrol head and my cars are like my children, I don’t just trust anyone to look after them.

Called for a Quote, the man was very rude and unhelpful. Was told that it was wasting his time to ring around getting prices for parts and that he didn't need to beg for work. Disgraceful customer service, would never call again!!!!

Great customer services, skilled mechanics and not too expensive!I took my car to them a couple of weeks ago and I personally found the attention to customer service highly efficient & highly important to them. I would definitely recommend them!

Brought my car in for a fault which 2 previous garages had misdiagnosed, but Duncan managed to find it quickly and repair it permanently. He really does have a vast knowledge and understanding, especially in my experience with my 2008 BMW 5 series. My husband also takes his cars here and is always really impressed, as does my brother who recommended Duncan to us in the first place.Always happy to leave my car here as I know he will be well looked after!

Best mechanic in Harrogate without a doubt. Always take my cars in for the big jobs, Duncan has done turbos, headgaskets, even dealt with a hydrolocked engine over the years. Always does a great job at a great price and knows exactly what he's talking about!

Over £500 spent to find a sunroof fault, which I had already pointed them towards a cause for (faulty alarm). But they fitted (and charged for) a battery to conduct a wiring test that was not needed. Other faults missed - petrol tank was leaking at the top. The mechanics I got to fix it in the end said he would have sacked his apprentice if they hadn't spotted that. Incorrect diagnosis for wheel rumble too, I asked them not to fix this and took it elsewhere. Incredibly unhelpful with my complaint, was planning on going to court over this but didn't have time to sort it as I take my job seriously, unlike these jokers.
