Beautiful lake however since the council have cut all the island trees down it.looks awful which rubbish all sitting about the water damm

This could be such a beautiful area to take a walk or a feed the ducks , but unfortunately the amount of rubbish , trollies and god knows what else in there just ruin it

Bird wise would be 5*, as I saw close-up this afternoon, Mallards and their ducklings, Moorhens and their young, and Canada Geese and their (big) goslings. Also two fly pasts by a Kingfisher, and a couple of Grey Herons.However, lake full of rubbish and lake surrounds need tidying up.Same could be said of the other two lakes and the the Brook that run along Billing Brook Road.I know that it's just a few people to blame for taking no pride in these nature sites, and money is tight, but c'mon WNC and the EA look after the area as you are supposed to.

Can be a nice good view for photos and day out. But lately just over grown bush's trees and water dirty and and logs and trolley in water. Make the place not looked after. What ashame.
