The Hurst Pool

Have been to many pools in area this is the best for cleanliness, staff friendliness. Water is bright and clearI am a senior swimmer with a lot of years of swimming poolsMy young grandchildren also love itWell done all staff

I do like taking my children swimming in Hurst Pool. For the youngers one they have just the right size pool. The swimming teacher there are very good. There is also nice playground next door which can be added to the exciting day. And there is a big open green space for the kids to kick off a ball. There is a open gym there too. Car park is free.

It's a small swimming pool but friendly. There are two pools, a teaching pool and what looks like a 25m pool, The pool is located at the end of a housing estate so look out for the sign at the roundabout (it's easy to miss). Free parking in the large carpark with a park and an outdoor gym next to it. The pool has an observation area where you can look out over the teaching pool. There are some vending machines on the way in and coffee is available behind the reception. You can get swimming goggles and hats from the reception shop, including goggles which are a cross between goggles and a divers mask if you can't get on with regular goggles. The staff are very friendly and there is a lifeguard on duty at the pool side. They do swimming lessons on a Sunday morning.

EditWent in 7/4/2022 @ 14.00 to book a session and explained that I'm not very good at internet booking and asked if the lady at the reception desk could help me book for the next day. I was told by the mature lady We don't do that you have to do that yourself ! " I can only assume that perhaps such a terse reply was because she was upset that perhaps I had interrupted her conversation with the other member of staff.However

My local pool, and it has been for about 4 years now.Lovely, cosy, always VERY CLEAN, the staff are friendly and recognise you, making you feel at home.Only downsize is that if you are coming to swim lengths, you really have to check the timetable to avoid disappointment! At certain times there are no lanes at all :(

This has always been a fantastic pool for Molesey and has really well run classes. It needs a slight refurb but that's in the pipeline I believe. So very clean and tidy and plenty of places to park. A new playground is being installed soon to replace to the old one and there is a gym there also next to the playground. Huge green and away from any main roads.What's not to like?

Teachers really good with children, making them love the overall learn-to-swim experience (4-stars!). Unfortunately rating 1-star due to one member of staff at reception with consistent lack of Customer care attitude, both over the phone and in person. As she doesn't like the system that she manages being questioned, she gets on the offensive and accuses you of being rude - all of this in front of other Customers and members of staff.

The changing facilities is not great but the swimming instructions there are very good, especially for children.

Staff polite and helpful. Pool and surrounding area nice and clean plus never too busy. Great value too!!
