Eric's Liverpool

Was very lively with friendly staff who seemed to be enjoying the music as much as the customers.Live acts alternated between Eric's stage and the one in Rubber Soul. Only gripe was the song choices were a little generic and predictable but I guess that's to be expected with city centre boozers these days, just quite a leap from the alternative roots of Eric's

A very lively bar with great live music. It is under the same roof as The Rubber Soul which has live music too. Good selection of beers.Popular with stag and hen nights!Definitely worth a visit.

A landmark Liverpool live music venue. Well worth a visit.

Whilst we have been here many times and often had a good night I will never go back after the behaviour this evening of the girl selling shots. She physically attacked our friend who had done nothing to the point that the bouncers stepped in to restrain the member of staff and told her she was out of order. She also called another member of the party a c**t. Staff are usually lovely but this physically and verbally abusive staff member has let them all down.

Great for a night of live music and the atmosphere is great everyone dancing and having a laugh.

Great place with a fantastic atmosphere.Drinks are pretty expensive tho, but it's Mathew Street I suppose...

Live music was great and atmosphere was fun too, great night out. I was charged a different amount each time I ordered the same two pints however which was confusing. Couldn't question it as I already had to shout my order across to the bartender.

Great live tribute acts

Very disappointed.My brother and I visited the place. We entered the place without problem and when we were already inside, a guard kicked us out. We didn’t quite understand what was happening and then they said that my brother’s trousers were not appropriate. This was very strange because he was not wearing something sporty or so, and the rest of the people in the club were wearing casual/normal clothes. Not fancy at all. This felt quite targeted, racist and rude to us. This is very disappointing, so wouldn’t recommend other tourists to visit the place, especially if your background is not white. Sadly that the place was not inclusive.

After scrolling the street we loved the vibe of this bar, so me and my friends went inside. We saw a sign that said cocktails above the stairs and went up. There was no one up there. We asked the employee that was scrolling through her phone if the bar was closed and she said yes. We were on our way down when a very agressive security lady came to throw us out. Apparently that area was closed, even thought no one told us and it was not signalized. We said we were very sorry and when asking for a justification, the lady refused to engage in conversation and proceeded to throw us out. Whilst outside we overheard other people being denied entrance because they were wearing shorts (which one of my friends was also wearing, as it was 20°C outside). We still dont know the reason why we got kicked out of the bar. Our group was 1 boy and 2 girls, sober and polite. We were very disappointed because we actually really liked the band that was playing.
