I've been going to Abby at Strands for five years now. I love to experiment with cut and colour and Abby has the experience and professional expertise to deliver what I have in mind, tailored to suit my face shape, skin tone (and age!). The whole team is friendly, creative and customer focused and I also enjoy being able to have beauty treatments in the same visit, excellently delivered by the talented Amy. Highly recommend.

Have been having my hair done at Strands of Meads Street since 2003. A consultation on arrival followed by a great hair wash, colour & cut. Today had a change of style and always leave feeling great so what more can you ask for - I love it!

It was my first time at this salon. They did fit me in on the day which was good but then when I got there I waited for 40mins to be seen. The stylist was not very communicative and kept sniffing throughout the treatment. She was wearing a mask.Overall not a great experience and disappointed because the reviews are good.My haircut was acceptable.

cannot rate this salon enough! I've struggled to find a hairdresser for my stupidly thick and wild hair for years, they have gone above and beyond to fit me in last minute twice! i went from blonde to bright blonde then came back to have a root blend and I am over the moon at how professional everybody is, I feel confident in their work and totally relaxed, cannot thank everybody enough especially Zoe who does my hair, great hairdressers full with talented staff.

Love it! Zoe is adorable & always does a great job with my colour. A lovely, friendly atmosphere & very reasonable prices. Only thing missing is a car park but I usually manage to find somewhere near.
