I was glad to visit a specialist shop that will cater to all my colour projects and assist with advice and expertise I would expect from staff working in a specialist shop. Sadly, the three times I visited I felt unwelcome and patronised. Staff don’t even look up when you walk in and proceed looking at the PC screens whilst you stand in front of them waiting to get their attention. Their interest picked up slightly once they realised I am about to spend over £200 on luxury paint but I say picked up in a very loose sense of thst word. I get a sense customers are a bother to staff, so will take my custom elsewhere.

I had to get external paint for the outside of my home...had the dulux from before but it was only half a can...so went to see if i could get more mixed. Alas dulux have changed the available dyes and the shop made great efforts to find a code that would work but ended up supplying me an alternative, which actually matches more or less perfectly. I had no problems with the service personally and they went the extra mile to try to help me.

Very rude and unhelpful assistant. I needed advice not to made to look stupid infront of my son. Massively over priced. Will not be going there again!!!!

Always have or can mix what paint you need much better than the bigger stores.Never made welcome or made to feel like my custom is valuable unless your a tradesmen I get the impression they don't like you being in there shop.

Small paint shop with plenty of stock and a mixing station.Friendly staff who are happy to help.Covid sanitation in place and masks a must.Keep up the good work!

The staff are unhelpful and dismissive, although on the occasion I visited they had what I wanted, I voted with my feet and went elsewhere to purchase. I won't be using them again and will actively advise others not to.

Great stock and I've bought various things here. Staff members highly variable with older man always going out of his way to make one feel stupid no matter what your question. Woukd be five stars if the experience was friendlier.

I agree with other comments. Great shop, not such nice staff.I asked for some help with knots and sap in outdoor furniture. I got the response that that’s what happens if you buy cheap furniture! This was an Alexander Rose chair I was talking about .Another time I’d bought the wrong white just the day before and was served by the same man whose name I happened to know. He refused to exchange the unopened tin saying I could have bought it anywhere. I said I didn’t want a refund and said that I thought he must recognise me but nothing!I waited 15 mins while he trawled through the takings from the previous day until he eventually found my sale of not a small amount.Unpleasant. They need some training, I think.

The products are massively overpriced but great, but that‘s down to the brands they stock rather than the shop itself, on the occasion that I had to use the shop rather than buy it online directly from supplier and wait for it to be delivered the staff (especially the owner) are something else entirely - rude, unhelpful and make sure that they make you feel like they are doing you a massive favour for serving you.

Had the same experience as another reviewer who said a male member of staff made them feel stupid. Rather than offering advice on how to complete my project, he told me that the issues I was having couldn't be happening and that there was no reason to use the paint I wanted to use. So, he talked himself out of a sale and I won't be going back.
