Lovely car park with overflow parking on the grass area. Set on the coast road between red Redcar and marske.with easy walking into Redcar. theres Great views all the way to saltburn and huntcliffe. Contrasting with the view of the off shore wind farm just off Redcar sea front

Unfortunately there's no camping here anymore, but at the other end of Redcar on Majuba beach you can park and camp over night, and it's free between 6pm - 8am, or between £1 and £4 depending on how long you want to stay, Redcar town isn't up to much to be honest, it's got the usually arcades and food shops, bit like a mini Blackpool. The beaches however are amazing, it must be one of the biggest in the UK, I love this beach, I'm not bothered about the wind farm or the steel works, for me it adds a bit of nostalgia and let's you know that the Northeast is still a popular place to visit and live.
