Staff were amazing, understanding and friendly, our bank put a temporary block on our card as we were spending an unusual amount around York which was unusual for us they pointed out nearest cash machines and banks to help solve the issue and for this I thank them

Bought a box of fudge from this shop today (roughly 11.15am) got back home to Southport and the person I bought them for pointed out that the best before date was 08/08/20, today's date is 16/08/20 !!9 days past the best before already ??? No acceptable at all

The Great Yorkshire Sweet Shop
What a nice little shop. They sell all of the retro sweets and I really like the black and white humbugs. You have to ask which sweets you want and how much, which is in grams rather than a quarter of a pound like you used get at your local paper shop. Overall I would highly recommend this traditional sweet shop. The staff are great and there's a good selection to choose from.

What a lovely sweet shop, They had all the old fashion sweets I remember as a child,The lady serving was ever so nice and pleasant, I bought my favourites Rhubarb and custards I only wish I bought more than I did they tasted just like the originals if you like traditional sweet this place is a must visit.
