Manchester Music Tours

Must see for any oasis fan....went on Saturday with my husband for the oasis tour and was the highlight of my weekend. Rose was so nice and knew her stuff even hung about with the band in the 90s with her husband from inpriral carpets. Couldn't recommend it enough ...my sister is already planning to go now too

Great tour very informative and interesting. Rose made it a relaxed well planned experience and time went by too quickly. Will definitely be trying another. Would recommend to anyone interested in Manchester music.

Fantastic! Did the Smiths tour today and loved every minute of it. Rose is great and knows so much about the music history in Manchester. She sprinkled in other interesting facts about the area as well. I've been a fan of the Smiths since I was a kid and thought I knew everything about the band but I learned so much more. I highly recommend.

I booked the Joy Division tour as i was in the city visiting the Factory Records exhibition.Glad i did as Rose did a fantastic tour of the city and Macclesfield. Rose's passion and knowledge was clear to see and i loved all the side stories. I will be back again soon for The Smiths our!

I was on the Joy Division tour of 20 May 2023.An excellent and very informative tour. Rose has obviously been heavily involved in the Manchester music scene for many years and it was a privilege to have her as our guide. The tour has certainly encouraged me to return to some of the key places we visited the next time I am in Manchester.The tour group was very international, which was refreshing to see.I think the pricing of the tour was very reasonable, especially considering its quality and length and the amount of driving involved. Maybe it would be better to have a refreshment break before heading off to Macclesfield but that's a minor point.If you read this Rose, I certainly had a lot of contact with Leroy at Gullivers on Saturday night. A very friendly guy!Thank you!

This was the trip of a lifetime for me. Rose did a fantastic job narrating, taking photos of all of us posing in front of the Salford Lads Club. She is very knowledgable about the Manchester music scene and passionate about it's history. I can't say enough good things about this tour.

Amazing!!! Had to wait a few months to get on the Oasis tour but I'd defo recommend it. Rose had so much knowledge about the city, the music scene and really encapsulated it with authentic stories from hanging out with the musicians back in the 90s. Highlight of the day... meeting Mr Sifter. He played Shaker Maker and when 'his bit' came on he let us all know. We bought some vouchers as memoriblia which he kindly signed for us. All in all 10/10 day... would only have been better if Liam had been at his Mams when we stopped off as Rose told us hes been known to nip out for a chat with the fans.

We did the music tour on Saturday - it packs a lot into a few hours, and Rose is the perfect guide. Warm, friendly and full of personal experience of the people and places who define the Manchester music scene. Absolutely loved it, highly recommended- thank you Mrs. Gill, for continuing Craig's legacy.

We were on the Smiths tour at the weekend, and really enjoyed it. Rose is the perfect guide - personable, informative and passionate about the subject matter, the city of Manchester and its musical heritage. We saw and learnt so much in those three hours, and fully intend to do one of the other tours soon.
