Amazing place, took a tour for £12 and got shown hidden rooms, basement down stairs and caves, kitchens, rooftop. Tour guide lady was very knowledgable and friendly. Highly recommend to add with free entry.

Absolutely gorgeous, so much to see and do and the hall and museum are a definite must. Deer wandering peacefully around and just the best day out if you enjoy walking. We had a brilliant day in the sunshine.

Breathtaking view with nicely maintained garden, it is a place where you can sit on the garden without knowing any sense of time. Very relaxing

Eclectic collection of interesting artifacts, in the main house and also the Industrial museum. We'll worth a visit.

Went to see a crimbo light show, Nice trail. Unfortunately, it ended a lot sooner than I expected. Not sure it was worth the journey up there and price.

Visited when passing on a Monday morning, parking was unnecessarily excessive, if you arrive before 9am it's £2 for 2 hours I believe, but after 9am the only tariff available is £5 for all day. If you are staying all day then it is good value, but if like us you only went in to pass an hour it seems a little pricey compared to other places.Entrance to the hall was free however which was a bonus, there were a few little shops to browse and a cafe and deli which had some good food.Walking around the lake was pretty chilled, and seeing deer wander around the grounds was pretty unique. All in, £5 for parking and free entrance to the hall made it good value for money.
