Lavant Dental

Following my dental treatment and after my original review detailed below , I have requested from “ Lavant Dental “ , an explanation of the fees I was charged ; in particular the charges for white coloured filings. The published fee for a coloured filing was “ from £104” ; I was charged £157 , for what I considered to be a relatively small filing ; which is almost 50% more then the fee tariff published.I’ve not as yet received a reply from “Lavant Dental “ , to my query over pricing. Furthermore I was not advised of the charges at the time of the treatment but only found out when asked to pay after treatment which I found was unprofessional.As a new patient I found the dental surgery a friendly polite and professional affair , I was however surprised and perhaps disappointed to be asked for a payment contribution in advanced of my treatment which made me feel untrustworthy.

After not going to a dentist in over 15 years I was very nervous. I needn't have been. The receptionist was very friendly and reassuring. The dental nurse and Murray put my mind at rest and kept me calm.

They deserve every star. Both my husband and I have been treated here and we could not be happier. Courteous and helpful receptionists, dental assistants and the gentlest dentist you could wish for. Thank you Dr Glover.... we won't be afraid to come back !

Murray took great care to explain the different options I had for my dental treatment, and the pros and cons of each so I could make an informed decision.

My first visit to Lavant Dental as a private patient, having been somewhat abandoned by my previous NHS dentist in a different practice. I found the whole experience excellent, from booking online to a very punctual appointment and a very thorough check up. Very pleased.

Great Dental Surgery, all the staff are so friendly and professional. Special mention for Louise in reception and Murray for fitting me in so quickly and doing such a good job on fixing my composite veneers. Thank you all again :)

I always receive the best dental care, I am very nervous patient but every visit is getting better because of the friendly and caring staff.

I had an email requesting feedback and it linked to here. Not sure if appropriate as don't like to publicly leave negative comments. I arrived for my hygienist appointment and waited 10 minutes and had to listen to the weekend gossip of 2 staff members at reception, which was not professional due to content. I was seen for less than 20 minutes which also included writing my notes. So does seem rather expensive for the short time I was in there!
