It was a terrible experience. No compassion, no dignity for my mother. The room was appalling...no candles, and plastic flowers on a little shelf. Nobody to meet us even though we arranged a viewing to say our goodbye. We were led into a dull uninviting room with no curtains at the window. My mothers coffin was under the window which was only a matter of 1.5 meters from the road! As there were no curtains anyone could have looked through the window. My mother was decomposing and was not recognisable as my mother. Around her mouth she looked skeletal and any makeup applied was done very badly. Her hair had not been brushed. Absolutely appalling company!! I think even 1 star is too generous.

For traditional rendering and plastering this place is a must

Mr Hendry was kind and thoughtful. He discussed all our requirements and then just arranged everything perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble and he made the whole process as easy and as clear for us as possible. He told us the things that we needed to do and gave us all the necessary paperwork and contacts. Despite our aunt's funeral not being local, everything was sorted and the funeral was as nice as a funeral possibly could ever be. Thank you.
