Eastnor Pottery & The Flying Potter

A wonderful day! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and we had a great short experience day of pottery.It was a great atmosphere and everyone could have a laugh together.A really fun couple of hours at the flying potters.

My husband bought me the Potter’s Wheel Day Course as part of my birthday present. I had a wonderful day! Jon and Sarah were great hosts and the studio was very cute and relaxing. Highly recommend booking.

Not only Are Sarah & Jon Friendly, Bubbly & just incredibly easy to get on with, they are incredibly Talented, insightful & knowledgeable!It was my first time on a proper potters wheel, with no prior knowledge of using one, & they couldn’t be more patient & helpful, showing tips & tricks whilst explaining different ways of fixing pieces, how to shape, everything!As soon as we arrived, they were warm & welcoming, which I really appreciate as someone with anxiety! I was worried about feeling awkward, & I didn’t feel awkward at all! They both have a great presence & it was an absolute honour to have been taught by them both on the pottery experience. I really hope to come back in the future, as it was an absolutely great time!

An exceptional course, John and Sarah are very knowledgable and break down the steps to throwing beautifully. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, but everyone went away proud of what they had learnt and able to carry the new skills forward. Thank you for a wonderful time, if you want to learn to throw, this is the place to do it!

Having never thrown before I attended a 2 day weekend course with Jon and Sarah. They were amazing, explaining every step of the throwing process and guiding you though all the creative stages including trimming and glazing. You work in a very relaxed environment (listening to Jon's 70's and 80's music mixes) with plenty of laughs with like minded people. Fantastic experience I'd happily do again and again!

Big thanks to Jon and Sarah for a superb pottery wheel experience. Their natural joy, enthusiasm, and passion for all things clay is infectious and makes for a such a fun afternoon. Their depth of knowledge and experience lead us to confidently make two pots under their guidance. They are naturals at teaching. All in all, the pottery wheel experience is a great way to spend a couple of hours, and it's amazing how much can be achieved in that time.I highly recommend you give this a go!

What an amazing day..... My sister and I booked the Potters Wheel Experience as a birthday treat and what a treat it was. Sarah and Jon are obviously very knowledgeable and their enthusiasm was infectious. Great team work between them assisting where needed but without 'taking over'. We loved the whole day.WE WILL BE BACK!

I booked for my mum and I to go on this course, and although we were looking forward to it, it was even better than I anticipated. Jon and Sarah were fun and supportive, instinctively giving each person the right amount of help that they wanted/needed. I had expected there to be a lot of watching, and less doing, but we were straight into pottery and got chance to try a lot of throwing. I think I managed to produce about 12 items to choose from throughout the day. Really loved that you can choose which pieces you wish to keep, and they fire, glaze and post them to you as well. By the end of the day, the group were all interacting and chatting with each other too. It was theraputic, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.

My husband and I had a lovely morning at Eastnor Pottery. Jon and Sarah were very welcoming and knowledgeable. We were able to make two pots each and we did much better than expected. Lovely studio with excellent music choice! We would love to return.

My brother got me and my finance this a a present, was well worth the drive over from Northampton, we had a truly great experience. All staff were welcoming and friendly and made the experience by their attentiveness to us! Would recommend to anyone
