WM Guitar Tuition

I have been learning from Wayne a few years now and have seen a large increase in my ability to play the guitar to a very good standard. He is very flexible to the music genre and provides lots of exercises to help with the desired genre. Would recommend Wayne to everyone wanting to learn or improve their playing greatly.

I've been learning electric guitar for around 6 months now with Wayne, initially I tried apps and YouTube. But with lessons I have come so far in a short time, far further than I would with the apps. Wayne is a great teacher so easy to learn from, in friendly relaxed atmosphere and the lessons are tailored to what I want to play, practice is also made easy with videos made by Wayne.If your just starting out like me lessons with Wayne will bring you along so much faster or if you have been playing for years Wayne can still help with technique and refinement.

I have been taking guitar lessons from Wayne since October 2020 and, as a novice player, have not only thoroughly enjoyed the lessons but improved thanks to his patience and professionalism. I resigned myself to potentially being an old guy strumming a guitar tunelessly after a few glasses of wine. Wayne has allowed me to see that I am better than that, and sets me new challenges each week. I would definitely recommend Wayne as a tutor to anyone at any level.

I have been receiving lessons from Wayne for over 5 years now and I wouldn't go to anyone else. Wayne is very versatile in the genres he teaches so you can learn the songs you love and also learn the techniques and concepts surrounding your musical taste. Wayne's lessons are very relaxing and Wayne always makes the lessons fun and enjoyable. Whether you've been playing guitar already or want to start playing, Wayne will be able to push you in the right direction to suit you and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to do so.

Both my teenage children, one boy, one girl, have had guitar lessons with Wayne. Apart from his obvious technical proficiency and extensive knowledge of technique and theory, the thing that has impressed me most about Wayne is his ability to build good relationships with his students and adapt to their individual needs and musical interests. I’ve usually sat in on lessons and it’s been great to see the progress they have made whilst always enjoying the lesson. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wayne as guitar tutor to students of any age.

Wayne is a great teacher. He tailors everything we do to suit what I want, nothing forced. His knowledge of music has got me listening and playing to tracks I would never have looked at before. He uses different tracks to suit what we're learning, so it's more enjoyable and improves the speed things sink in. I would recommend him to anyone!

I've been having lessons with Wayne for the past 4 years. I've always been a shy person but Wayne creates a comfortable environment and is super easy to get on with. Wayne's lessons are always enjoyable and I get to to choose my own songs to learn. He is a great teacher and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is wanting to learn to play guitar.

I have been having lessons from Wayne for almost a year now and I have made so much progress. Family members have even commented on my improvement! Wayne is a brilliant teacher who incorporates your own music taste into the lessons and introduces new guitarists and bands - many of which I now listen to regularly. Not only have I become a better and faster player but my knowledge of music theory has drastically improved. At first I was apprehensive about lessons after being self-taught for 3 years, but I really had nothing to worry about. His lessons are always fun and challenging and I look forward to it every week. I would strongly recommend Wayne to anybody, no matter your ability.

I have played off and on for many years, never quite getting anywhere. I’ve been with Wayne for a month and his style of teaching really has unlocked a puzzle in terms of understanding this beautiful instrument. There is no style or genre that he doesn’t know or play with the ease of someone that really understands his craft. Highly recommend Wayne if you want to learn to play. He is able to teach the basics right through to complex pieces and theory. I would happily pay just to watch him play the pieces he is teaching me as he is so fluid and his sound is amazing. 5 stars but only because that’s the most I’m allowed to give.

My 16 year old daughter started lessons with Wayne back in April of this year. The progression of her ability has been impressive, which alongside a daily enthusiasm to do her practice, just demonstrates not only the quality of the lessons, but also the structure. With Wayne allowing lots of input into the balance of what is covered, she is able to choose her own music to learn and also the amount of theory which gets covered, which suits her very well. This is all delivered with an easy, laid back and patient nature within the surroundings of a purpose arranged room in Wayne's home. She is always excited come the time for her lesson and I would not hesitate to recommend Wayne to anyone looking to start guitar lessons.
