Munchkins Miniature Shetland Rescue
This is how a rescue should be run. 5 star facility matched to 5 star care from very dedicated, committed lovely people who are mainly volunteers. Many of the ponies arrive in a terrible state mentally and physically. They are all assessed and treated with no expense spared. Wherever possible they are integrated into a natural herd way of life. I recommend you arrange to visit if you can or donate to this amazing charity.

We had a fabulous afternoon at the centres summer fayre and met some amazing miniature Shetland ponies one particular Poppet who has recently been saved from a cruel situation. Brilliant work and a great place to visit

Munchkins Miniature Shetland Rescue
We were told about the sanctuary by a dog food shop in Colyton and we decided to drop off a bag of carrots at the sanctuary the next day. We met Tammy and her amazing helpers, who do all this work for free. The Shetland ponies are well cared for and there needs are taken care of. The only income they get are from donations from the public. So we urge everyone who cares for these animals welfare to give generously. We have sponcered a pony after seeing the great work which is carried out come rain or shine by these amazing people.we will continue to support the sanctuary as much as we can.

Munckins are amazing, our daughter has been volunteering there and she is so impressed with the love, care and hard work they do to look after the cutest ponies ever. Everyone is so caring and kind. Thank you Munchkins for all you are doing for the ponies and for letting our daughter help out.

Went to the fun day it was £3 for an adult and then everything inside was so over priced we didn't stay long at all as it would have cost us a small fortune to let ore kids go on things

I helped out at the Fete on Sunday, on the Bric a brack stall, with two nice people Babs and Chris who already sponser a pony. I thought the Fete was very well organised indeed, and everyone seemed to be happy, and the draw was well run by Carey Harris, and all the staff are very friendly. A very enjoyable day out, and I will be happy to volunteer to help out next year.Nova Mitcham

Such happy ponies enjoying a healthy and natural environment. I was made to feel really welcome on my visit and will be returning for their summer fayre. They do a wonderful job.
