Ate here last night for the Christmas party season. Hats off to the chef & staff for making it a great night. Starters came camembert & sticky pigs in blankets beautiful. Mains beef melt in the mouth & turkey cooked to perfection. Desserts just topped everything off. Food on another level well worth the price. Staff attentive & friendly smiles on their faces atmosphere fantastic. Well worth a visit not just for Christmas food. Always a warm welcome & excellent food. Thank you for a great evening.

Roadside pub, beautiful building, hidden gem. It's huge, inside and out.Great car parking opposite.Food was amazing. Fish and chips superb and massive.This pub is spotless and gorgeous, and very dog friendly. Lovely outdoor space. Really friendly staff.

Absolutely love the Smithy Arms. Friendly staff and excellent food in lovely surroundings. They have a separate Gluten Free menu. If you are driving, just be aware the car park is across the road.

We came as a group of 6, two nights in a row. They were so accommodating for us.The menu is small, but everything we had was superb.Can not fault them. The prices were reasonable, the place was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive. X

Chicken was beautifully cooked, in a delicious sauce- only way it could have been improved is if more vegetables had been served with the dish. Burger with skin-on chips was really good. Very generous portions. I had a rhubarb crumble which was absolutely gorgeous- serbed with vanilla custard and ice cream- it was so large I had to share it, and there was more than enough for two!!Very friendly service, lovely atmosphere with sport on television and good music selection playing.Highly recommend this place!!!
