mon Fires

We decided to buy a gas fire from Môn Fires at the beginning of 2016. We had reason to phone the shop several times concerning the order and date of installation. Several issues arose with this company after payment and the gentleman who answered our enquires was extremely rude at times. We were very unhappy and unimpressed with the service they provided and the after sales service was unacceptable. We called Môn Fires to attend a fault with our fire eight months after installation and unfortunately we received a rude and unhelpful response. Avoid!!

I paid £690 in advance to get my flue lined and the engineers left without Finishing the vent . They told me they would be back the next day and 5 weeks later they still haven't been back or given me my hetas certificate . I called hetas and mon fires aren't even registered with them ! Absolute nightmare , I'm in the process of taking them to court to get my money back so I can pay a hetas registered engineer to do the work properly . Avoid at all costs

We were told by Steven, the owner, Môn Fires were HETAS registered and they advertised this fact in their shop. They promised the work would be done within four days and four weeks later there was still work unfinished. We decided to contact HETAS only to be told they were not registered and were being investigated. We then contacted another company to certify the work and they informed us they had rectified Môn Fires' jobs on roughly fifteen other occasion over the past ten months. Would not surprise me at all if this company ends up in daytime TV fulfilling the role of cowboy builders. Avoid at all costs!

since being under new managment from the start of 2017 i thought i would give them a chance lovely service very happy with the work and prices highly recomended

Would like to know who this Jennifer Hughes is who gave a poor review of my company and other companies, ??? No trace of her in my accounts, also other companies that I have been in contact with have no record of her, Is she a relative of this company I wonder? Will have to contact my solicitor to take legal advise unless the review is not removed off our site.
