Goodleigh Hill CL CAMC

So beautifully appointed! A charming and comfortable place to stay in a quiet spot but easy walking distance to the Georgian town of Pershore. We felt so welcome.

Wow, what a really well laid out and extremely well run CL. Emily met us at the gate upon our very wet rainy arrival and showed us to a very spacious, fully serviced pitch, explained where everything was and let us settle in.A lever arch folder was waiting for us, which Emily had meticulously detailed with maps for walking routes (even showing what the ground may be like in certain months), places to eat, shops and good pubs. We were amazed at how well we were looked after.Her little greenhouse kept locally made chutneys and juices. Even chemical toilet cleaner bio friendly. An honesty box being left just inside.The recycling area was always clean and tidy being emptied daily with polite requests to keep general waste bagged and tied to help keep the cleanliness of the area and a very easy to use chemical toilet disposal,even poo bag dustbins which was an excellent idea.A well kept grass field immediately behind/in front, depending on which way you sited your caravan, had areas for wildlife to inhabit and a pathway right round the outskirt to walk doggies.Nothing was too much bother for Emily,we only had to ask. Due to bad weather setting in on the day of our departure, Emily was able to extend our stay by two days in order for us to wait it out.Thanks Emily, for such a great stay,we definitely will be back.

Another great break at Goodleigh Hill CL site -This the best CL site we’ve stayed at - great location with a 15 minute walk into the centre of Pershore. Such a peaceful and lovely site and Emily is so helpful, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We are here again in May and this is one site we feel so relaxed and will always visit although we do have our little “emergencies” with last time the tow bar electrics playing up, but with help from other guests it was eventually sorted and we were on our way. Looking forward to our next stay.

What a great little site....we were made most welcome by a lovely host (Emily) along with a welcome pack that was full of walks and info about the location. Electric was metered and over a 2 night stay we averaged approx £3.50 a day....will definitely be back

This CL is family run site with a very hands on approach, Emily who works tirelessly to keep the place spic and span is a mine of information to get the best out of your stay. Definitely worth visiting again.

Lovely, spacious, well laid out site. Nice path down to town. Will come again.

It is no wonder this site achieved a 'Best New CL' award.The facilities are excellent and you are guaranteed a very warm welcome from Emily. A comprehensive information pack is provided for each pitch. We had no trouble accessing and exiting the site with our twin axle caravan. Each pitch is generously-sized and has it's own grassed area.Adjacent to the 5 pitches is a large area of grass and wild flowers giving the whole site a spacious and comfortable ambience.The site is located in a lovely area with several pretty villages within easy reach.We completely endorse all the very complimentary comments that other visitors to the site have made. We've been members of the CAMC for over 50 years, so we do recognise an excellent site when we find one.John and Delores

We were on the CAMC CL, and it is top notch. The owners provide lots of communication beforehand and more information in folders for what's available locally on arrival. 10 mins walk down into Pershore via a permissive path. Dogs allowed. Children not.

Just back from another wonderful stay at GH. Waking up to the Dawn chorus -led by a Cuckoo was magical. Lovely walk along the Avon, a 5 minute walk from site, and (mostly) dog-friendly Pershore for great lunches and independent shops. A truly great week, thank you Emily.

Excellent site and facilities on pitch with the most comprehensive information folder I have ever seen on each and every pitch. Very friendly and helpful hosts in Emily and Mathew. Short walk(10-15 mins) into the deceptively interesting small town of Pershore and all its facilities.
