I lived in Ottery St Mary for three-and-a-half years with hall and Scott as my estate agents. The property they provide me with was very well priced and a lovely property in itself. Any problems I had were attended to very quickly and all done with the smile. I' could not ask for more from an estate agent absolutely fantastic and they made my time exceptional in Ottery. They also had a great attitude towards the fact that I have a guide dog and all they requested was that I cleaned the carpet after leaving which is far more than fair thank you very much guys!

Halls estate agency are both professional and very friendly. Dean and Nick are very easy to speak to along with all the office staff that I had contact with, their knowledge of the east devon market is excellent, you feel like a valued client, I would highly recommendthem.

From the moment Nick Hall visited me at my late mother's house in West Hill I knew I was in safe hands. The end to end service from H&S was excellent in all regards. No job was too small and I was kept informed of progress at every stage. Selling a property at a distance could have been a stressful experience but H&S made it straight forward and stress free. Hall and Scott have been a fabulous Estate Agent for the sale of our house.Dean was very helpful from the start and inspired trust and confidence, and as we progressed with solicitors, Sarah was on the ball all the time, keeping us up to date and chasing loose ends with our buyer's soicitors. All in all a five star experience and great value too. A cut above the rest.

Having 'given it a go' with another agent without success, we appointed Hall & Scott to sell my mother's house in West Hill. They were in action immediately, interest followed and this in turn by a good offer. The buyer was perhaps not the easiest to deal with but they kept it on track, despite all the difficulties thrown up by the pandemic, and saw the sale through to completion in a timely manner. Have both sold and purchased through Hall & Scott (and assisted a family member with their sale) and H&S would be my definite go to should I need an estate agent again in the future. Communication is great, the whole team are friendly, and forthcoming with helpful information.

We chose Hall and Scott from a pool of estate agents we met with. We chose them because Dean seemed most interested and sincere when we spoke to them all. We had a difficult process to get to the finish line, not because of anything we could have predicted, but thankfully, Liz was excellent at keeping us informed and supported. Hall & Scott are a professional Estate Agency who know the market well and deliver a first class service - sold our property for the full asking price within weeks of appointing them. Other Agents in the locality had our property on the market for years and continually kept asking us to lower our price, which we wouldn't ........... needless to say we sacked Redferns and got a fair market price for our property. Nick Hall was first class and Dean provided excellent service. Hall & Scott are the go to Agency in Ottery.

I think any new tenant should be very careful when dealing with this agent. First the property was a dreadful mess when moving in illegal bathroom light, rubbish left by previous tenant took over 6 weeks before l could use the refuse bin, stained carpets, grass over foot high, hedge so out of control it took months to get it sorted it was also hawthorn and brambles physically injured my dog who now has real scare. Photos used on inventory where dated 2 yrs before l moved in. Then insult to injury they stole £400 of my deposit after l disputed the fee without going via deposit protection scheme.... stay awayUpdate after reply. Tried that for two months she still thought it was OK to take £400 for bag of grass seed!
