The service that i received when i called Pal Hire to assist my business with hire of skips was amazing my Account manager Sam was extremely helpful as was Hannah from Sales, my skip was delivered on time and when it was filled by lunch time a new skip was organised and exchange happened within a day, I cant recommend Pal Highly enough. If your looking for a completely professional company who totally understand your needs and do the best they can to help while being polite and friendly then gibe them a call

Was told 3 times over email that no deposit was required, paid the extortionate £330 for 3 days for an excavator. Once I paid they turned round and said they needed a £500 deposit on top and there was nothing they could do. When asked for a refund they said it was company policy that the refund was 3-5 working days. Nearly put the entire job at risk as I am a small business. Absolute joke of a company will never use them again. Just disregard company policy to get the money and then all of a sudden go by it to deliver refunds.

AVOID!!!! The company has no structure, you literally deal with unprofessional and unreliable staff who tells you different things every time. They took £500 of my credit card as deposit and still not refunded the money (since April). They ignore the calls and emails, it’s been a nightmare trying to get them to give my money back. I will soon have to take further actions. SO PLEASE AVOID THEM!

It gives me no joy to criticize but strongly believe in constructive feedback so here we are:Arranged a digger hire for a week online with £500 refundable deposit paid-all good! Delivered promptly and collected when arranged. One week after return of plant i chased by email asking for deposit-no answer! Two weeks after i called and got a staff saying plant needs to checked for damages and only when depo confirms there are none my deposit will be processed?! I wrote a complaint and chased line manager as they should have already done that in those 2 weeks-NO ANSWER ON ANYTHING. Three weeks after i called again asking to speak to someone in charge-got connected to finance who explained how waiting for a month for refund of deposit is normal and i should not be alarmed?!? Theyy also explained my case" was not handled yet as staff who did the hire is off sick?!? Confused :( Frustrated etc. Now it is one more week (ONE MONTH IN TOTAL) and i still have not received any reply to my emails not i received my deposit back. Email that came after talking to finance is additional charge for fuel consumed (which i never objected in the first place) and which i have paid. Big improvements needed. Future customers need to be aware.Extremely unprofessional

First time experience dealing with PAL Hire. I dealt solely with Hannah Nicholls and she was perfect in every aspect. I gave her short notice and kind of dropped a big order on her and yet she pulled it off with great spirit; she is an asset to the company. Thanks PAL Hire, thanks Hannah.

Great service, the delivery driver for our portaloo hire found the tiny layby at 6.45am before we arrived, it was well stocked with soap, loo rolls and paper towel, meaning our site was ready when we arrived. Friendly sales team, easy to deal with, a place on the paperwork for us to add a detailed site location map, and our paperwork was late but they didn't cancel the order! Highly recommended, will use again.

Have used PAL Hire half a dozen times for various projects and so far so good. Price point seems good, response time to pricing requests has been swift and equipment arrived on time and removed from sites in a timely manner. Jamie Scudder handles my account and has been extremely helpful at all times.
